This is a port freshly picked from original Skyrim to SSE by KainXavier. All credits go to him for creating the original mod, scripts and implementation. This mod is provided as is, as it is a direct port of Oldrim. I'll try to provide as much help as possible with questions about certain crafting or harvesting models. Many thanks for allowing the open license to port this to SSE. The original mod can be found here:

important! ! Please read the compatibility section below for information on harvesting modules and others!! This list will be updated accordingly based on user requests and comments. Thanks to everyone who helped with this.
-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -----.esp has been run through the Creation Kit and saved in Form 44. If you have any questions about this file, please contact us. I installed it in my game and it works great for me. Since the MCM menu is built in, you must give the game some time for the MCM to register the internal menu. SkyUI will give you a visual confirmation when it's ready. Please keep in mind that other mods or load order may affect this mod. Ideally, I'd let LOOT (if you use it) handle your load order and put it into a stable state. I'm told that SSE's CACO will be available soon. Not sure when, but this is a massive overhaul of the cooking and alchemy systems. I think this could be a very satisfying model, All players wishing to earn Alchemy XP for selected ingredients can be tried.
I have two other harvesting models ported from Oldrim called Collect Ivy SSE and Harvestable Elves Ear and Frost Mirriam SSE and are compatible with Freshly Picked SSE. They can be found here:
Harvestable Elf Ears and Frost Frri Mirriam SSE
Collect Ivy SSE
Make sure to load this mod after these mods to make sure this mod registers the collect keypress to gain Alchemy XP.
Another model I recently ported from Oldrim to SSE is by KainXavier, which is pretty good, called Lumberjacked SSE. It allows players to earn two-handed XP by cutting wood and loading logs into the sawmill, and earn Smithing XP by sending logs in the mill. Can be found here:

Here is the description from KainXavier of Oldrim Page:

FAQ
Why are coin purses and piles of gold considered plants?
In terms of code, there is no difference between Coin Wallet and Amanita Amanita.
That's why the Green Thumb perk already works on things like Egg Sacs and Charred Skeevers by default. I just made it consistent with Dragonborn's gold.
How do I know when the Green Thumb perk is applied?
The correct item count will always be displayed when harvesting ingredients from plant and tree objects. For everything else, a second "Item added" message will appear indicating that the effect has been applied. If you wish, you can disable this assist message in the mod configuration menu.
Will this mod affect any tracked game statistics?
yes. Each time …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
