Help an Argonian shoemaker enter Fortune's Tradehouse, a new location that adds five fully voiced quests for Markarth for players to get started with.

What is Fortune Trading Company?

Fortune's Tradehouse is a decidedly friendly quest mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It adds a new location for Markarth, a trading company named Fortune from the eccentric empire. The mod includes one main quest, four side quests, and eleven unique voiced NPCs.

Start the task:

Fortune's Tradehouse is located in the north of Markarth. Talk to Ut-Keen to start the quest. You can find him standing at the entrance.

Install:

Install using the mod manager of your choice or manually by placing the ESP and BSA files in the data folder and then activate

Mod from Skyrim Launcher.

I highly recommend installing meh321's "Fix Lip Sync". This is a plugin for Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) that fixes Skyrim's lip sync issues, so SKSE is required.

SKSE:

Fix lip sync

compatibility:

The city of Markas has changed very little. I cannot guarantee compatibility with mods that make significant changes to the city.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
