Compatibility My Mods Development Checklist
original model
by Fortran
All Fortran modules are placed in one file.
The shield is handmade.
The plugin is labeled ESL.
Include:
nordic buckler
A simple Nordic style round shield for those of you who like Skyrim's Nordic races and want a more "Viking" style look similar to the original shield option, while wanting to keep it lore-friendly.
Ornate Buklari shield
Small Nordic style Buklari shield. Buklari was the forerunner of the more famous "Buckler Shield" in the Middle Ages. Due to its size and use, I would classify this as Skyrim's light blocker.

ORIGINAL MODS
by Fortran
All Fortran's mods in one file.
Shields are craftable.
Plugin flagged as ESL.
INCLUDED:
Nordic Round Shield
A simple Nordic styled round shield for those who like the Nordic race of Skyrim and want something a touch more "Viking" in flavour to the original shield selection while hopefully keeping it Lore friendly.
Ornate Buklari Shield
Small Nordic style Buklari shield. The Buklari is a fore-runner of the more well known "Buckler Shield" of the medieval period. Due to it's size and purpose I have clasified this as a light shield for Skyrim.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
