What this mod does is place Dragonbone Armor, a complete set of heavy and light armor, and all Dragonbone weapons, in various locations in the game.
Each of these locations has a map marker from the Skyrim map marker model, and requires no other models, not even my mod.
This mod is an add-on to my Skyrim map marker mod, but provides a greater challenge if one wants to play it without the Skyrim map marker mod.
Of course, it's easier to play it when you know where in the game you can find armor/weapons. Some items are hidden and may not be easy to find.
This mod has the best results if loaded after my Skyrim Map Markers mod.
It shouldn't conflict with other mods, except mods that touch Dragonbone armor/weapons. Also, I cleaned up the mods in SSEEdit.
If one wants to create a patch, both Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC are required, which I allow. Nothing else is allowed.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
