About this mod Machine translation

Most Daedric artifacts in Skyrim have been given a light overhaul, improving them without changing them into non-essentials.

Artifacts of the ages, beyond mortal understanding, have helped or hindered heroes and vanilla throughout the ages. Throughout the Elder Scrolls series, these artifacts have always been sought after as some of the best equipment you can find in the game world, and they have powerful effects that can help you on your journey. It's a shame that many of these artifacts are short lived in our beloved Skyrim, often replaced by random loot that can only be found through high levels. There are a ton of artifact mods out there that try to correct this problem, however, they usually end up being severely overpowered or changing the artifact to something completely different than what Skyrim presents.

I was dissatisfied with other mods on the market that couldn't change these beloved items, so I decided to make my own.

Require

Skyrim's unofficial patch master. That's all

Install

Just push in.

Artifacts

azure star and black star

value added

These two artifacts really don't require anything. In fact, they did a great job in the first place. So I just made them much more valuable, like the gems that can hold Vivec's soul.

Dawnbreaker

The base damage is up to 14, and the quality is now high.

Shot Enchantment can be used up to 30 times and can be found in level loot

Meridian's Smite now deals slightly more damage and can deal up to 60 points of undead

Ah Dawnbreaker, a sword beloved for its beauty, can be obtained very early on, but the lackluster enchantments and base damage of the ending mean that most weapons outclass it in the endgame. It now has the power to match, so you can lead a charge against the undead without a better weapon.

Clavicle poison mask

Stronghold barter increased to 30

Magic recovery effect increased to 25%

Did you know that the mask increases Magicka's regenerative abilities? Yeah, me neither. Vanilla content is 5%. So we bumped it up so that it actually had a reason to exist, and increased the barter impact to 30, so it makes the king the best item to buy and sell in the game.

ebony mail

Armor rating increased to 49, now part of the ancient breastplate

Poison Cloak damage increased to 10 points per second

Ebony Locks are now comparable to high-level armor, and most other artifacts have been polished. Moreover, the unique poison robe effect will cause greater damage, which means it will have a greater impact in the battle. The armor is completely covered, so you can sneak into it as if you weren't wearing any at all! fine! fine!

evil ax

Increased rotation speed is the same as for the other two hand axes

Damage increased to 27

Now stamina damage is 30

Wow. In the vanilla game, this weapon is a sin against Todd. Why you should stay on Masque is beyond me. Now, the slowest weapon in the game can actually be preformed, with higher damage, swing speed (without taking four years to make it), and the highest stamina damage you can usually find.

skin of savior

Resist magic effects increased by 25%

Now resists poison effects 100%

Armor level up to 38, equivalent to glass armor

It looks good in theory, but it lacks something you can easily create your own, or even find randomly. In order for it to shine and become a valuable relic of the werewolf slayer, it needed some minor polishing.

Volendrung

Base damage up to 31, raw quality

Increases paralysis by 3 seconds

Hammer of power! In previous Elder Scrolls games, this artifact had the ability to paralyze the target if hit, and now that ability has been restored! With higher base damage, you can go after the stumbling Prince Diedric enemies!

Ebony Blade

Now base damage is 23

Same speed as a one-handed mace

Ebony blades are largely secured thanks to unofficial patches, proper tempering formulas, etc. However, the blade could still be improved so the damage I did to the base was consistent with the rest of the piece. The life cost at ful …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
