About this mod Machine translation
Added some classic spells from Morrowind and Oblivion in Skyrim.
This mod adds several classic spells from Oblivion and Morrowind that are not present in Skyrim. You'll find them as loot, or can be purchased from merchants in the form of books and scrolls. Each spell is well balanced in rarity, mana cost, skill level requirements, and power, and enemy mages will be able to use some of them against you; this is to make the mod integrate as seamlessly with the base game as possible. Very lightweight and should be compatible with almost everything.
that power
Summon Ancestor Ghost: Added Dark Elf's "Ancestral Wrath" racial ability. Once per day, you can summon the ghost of a dark elf ancestor for one minute. Ghost is a battle mage who is very effective early on.
abnormal
Summons the Skeleton Guardian (Apprentice): A skeleton with an ax and shield. Very handy for one-on-one combat against low-level opponents. Can be summoned for longer periods of time using the Necromantic Staff.
Summon Skeleton Hero (Proficiency): Armored skull, sword, double health. Conceivably, more effective in combat. Can be summoned for longer periods of time
Necromancer
Mark and Recall (Skilled): Mark places a portal at your location for 2 minutes (longer if using dual cast). Use Call Out to teleport back from anywhere else. In other words - a portable portal. Perfect for quick escapes as a stealth character.
Summon Skeleton Champion (Expert): A battle mage skeleton. Has a sword and shoots ice spears. From a distance he's a real force to be reckoned with, but up close he's quite weak. Can be summoned for longer periods of time using the Necromantic Staff.
Summon Dwarf Ball (Expert): Self explanatory. Summons a dwarf ball that is fast and has powerful melee attacks. To unlock this spell, you must have a Summoning skill of at least 75 and read a book called Secret Witch Recipes like in Morrowind. This book can be found on the charming desk in Calcelmo's laboratory in Understone Keep.
Transformation
Water Walking (Apprentice): Can walk in water for 30 seconds in a single cast or 1 minute in a double cast. This can actually save lives if you're playing Frostfall.
Feather (Apprentice, Adept, and Expert): Adds 25 (apprentice spells), 50 (adept spells), or 75 (expert spells) to carrying weight per minute (longer if dual casting is used).
Burden (Apprentice): Slows the target by 50% for 15 seconds (longer if dual cast). The dragon cannot bear its effects.
Cushioned Drop (Skilled): Basically a slow drop spell from Morrowind, without the slow drop part. You take 50% less falling damage for 30 seconds (longer if cast twice).
destroy
Arrow of Weakness (Apprentice): Each hit reduces the target's stamina by 30 points (more if dual-casting is used). Used to prevent opponents from launching attacks. It does not apply to dwarven structures or undead, since they are not technically creatures.
Sever Magicka (Apprentice): Each hit reduces the target's Magicka by 30 points (increased by 30 points if dual-casting is used). Apparently useful against mages. The dragon was too powerful to withstand its influence.
recover
Cure Disease and Poison (Apprentice): As the names suggest, both are versions of the spells Cure Disease and Cure Poison.
Resist Disease and Poison (Proficiency): These spells make you immune to disease or poison for 30 seconds (longer if cast twice). More useful for characters with no natural resistances.
Improved Health (Apprentice, Adept and Expert): Increases your health by 25 (Apprentice spells), 50 (Adept spells)
or 75 (expert spell) for one minute (longer if cast twice).
Improved Stamina (Apprentice, Adept, and Expert): Increases your stamina by 25 (Apprentice spell), 50 (Adept)
spell) or 75 (expert spell) lasts one minute (longer if cast twice).
illusion
Dusk Eyes (Newbie): Basically just the spell version of night vision. Gives you 30 seconds of night vision (or longer if you're dual-casting), and your character's eyes will glow in …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
