Forgotten Magic Redone SE brings you Skyrim's most comprehensive and interesting spells yet! Following the Forgotten Magic Mod, arcane magic is now mastered.
While other magic mods often introduce hundreds of different spells (which can be a bit overwhelming), this mod takes a different approach. Forgotten Magic rework offers a smaller set of spells that partially complement each other and attempts to keep them balanced and immersive.
What's special about this mod is that the spells you use will level up with you and allow you to unlock some of the mysteries hidden within their scripts, giving them new effects as they become more powerful.
Those who want to use as many different spells as possible can use this mode with other popular magic modes without any problems.
The Forgotten Magic rework helps you gain access to truly complementary spells, unlocking a dazzling variety of combination effects while mastering a range of spells in your school of magic that cover your playstyle, much to the extent of the Archmage.
feature
Forgotten Magic Redone SE adds 39 new spells to your game, each with 10 possible improvements, for a total of 390 improvements. The spell's level cap is 5. You gain experience as you use spells, allowing you to unlock new effects each time you level up. These improvements, as well as the spells themselves, can be combined for greater effect. It’s up to you to decide where your true power and true nature lies.
Under the Forgotten Magic tab in the MCM menu, you can view your spell experience, points remaining, and talents available for that specific spell. Also, once enough spells have been used to make it to the next level, you will receive a small notification saying "Your spell has been upgraded!" in the upper left corner of the screen.
Each time you successfully cast a spell, you gain experience. For each level gained in a spell, the required experience increases by 1.5 (or 2 for some spells). Only the most dedicated people master their craft. Devahkin has a certain advantage over ordinary mages, being able to spend dragon souls to refund all talent points spent on spells.

Where are they?
Whenever you kill an enemy, you have a chance to find a random spellbook. Some simple spells can be purchased from the mage who lives in the Bannered Mare in White Run; others can be obtained from his companion, who wanders between White Run and Markarth.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
