Markarth Playerhome/Forsaken Hideout Behind the Falls

Adds a small Forsworn Hideout/possible Playerhome to the city of Markarth located behind one of the Markarths Waterfalls.

You can jump out.

This mod adds 2 Dwemer pipe end caps to the city of Markarth itself.

One of them can be opened with a key found in the small Grotto itself. It's located to the right of the main entrance to markarths

(The second one is just so the other person doesn't feel too inappropriate)

In regular play, you might get lucky and find the initial entrance!

(A broken pipe that found its way into Markarths "dig site" early on)

Upon entering, you will be greeted by a couple.

This mod should be compatible with anything, be standalone and only use Skyrim assets.

If you do a Markarth overhaul I still highly doubt they will interfere with the ends of the 2 pipes

(I don't have any Markarth related mods installed)

If something goes wrong, feel free to share it in the comments.

The grotto contains:

All necessary production tools

(The smelter and forge are outside anyway, and there are no armor/weapon displays)

All storage containers in the storage area, 2 sleeping options, a cooking pot, and navigation mesh in the living area.

Waterfall light sources are also daytime sensitive.

There are some flowers and decorations too :)

Notable issues:

Crawling through a pipe would say "open": (not crawling ; /), which sounds like a door.

idk how to change it.

In practice you'll enter via the pipe cap later anyway, and use the third way to exit the cave appropriately. (Exit only; P)

(Note: If you don't want to abandon the abandoned couple in the cave to the left of the waterfall, you can skillfully throw them out of the cave)

Feel free to add to the mod, reupload it to contact, hell, you can even make money from it if you're a capitalist pig :D idc

If you like this module, please feel free to leave a comment and/or upload a picture if appropriate.

high frequency

Will increase the number of waterfall caves and possibly combine with the pipecap idea (as I want my caves to have others and a prettier interior, but am attracted by the lore and will most likely become a hideout for a rich thief)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
