About this mod Machine translation
A lightweight and scriptless mod that rebalances vanilla and DLC consumables with reasonable compatibility.
Everyone knows how to save themselves from death by filling their stomachs with cheese from the entire dairy aisle. Almost everything consumed in the game is instant. The food also seemed to be superfluous. I mean, why bother if you're just going to use those oversized ATM potions you have?
This is the problem I'm trying to solve. The lightest and most compatible way. As they say, if you don't like it, modify it yourself. With this, I bring you:
Florence
What does this mod do? It changes a few simple things:
Changed all static potions or instant health, magic, and stamina sources to duration-based price balancing effects.
Rescale existing duration-based consumables based on statistics. (For example, resistance potions last longer and scale down.)
All craftable potions reflect the same effects as above.
Food provides a temporary thrill. Meat-based foods are geared toward health, while plant-based foods are geared toward endurance. A stew that combines both will have some endurance and health benefits. Some foods even have Magicka lovers.
Undercooked food is only reinforcing. (Sorry, Mr. Potato).
No additional ingredients or recipes are added. Use existing vanilla recipes and ingredients.
Regardless of which revitalization mode is used, this is (hopefully) a smoother gradient to alchemy scaling. Perks have not been modified to maintain as much compatibility as possible.
Require:
Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch - This is because records of food items in the patch must be forwarded.
Skyrim Special Edition - Sorry LE. (If you are interested in a transplant, please ask for permission first. Not sure if you need a transplant, though.)
Install:
Just install using the Mod Manager of your choice. No fancy FOMOD installers or MCM configurations.
compatibility:
Mostly. Since modlists vary so much I can't guarantee it. Might be incompatible with mods that do similar things (CACO comes to mind).
Please note:
If you like this mod and want to share it, please get my permission first. Just point to the mod and the translation will work.
This MOD will always be free. This is my way of giving back to the great modder community, thank you so much!

Everyone is aware of how you can save yourself from death by stuffing the whole dairy aisle down your stomach in cheese. Almost everything consumed in this game is instant. Food also seems redundant as well. I mean, why bother if you're just going to use those overpowered money machine potions of yours?
This is my attempt at fixing that. The lightest and most compatible way possible. As they say, if you don't like it, mod it yourself. With that, I bring you:

What does this mod do? It changes a few simple things:
Changes all static potions or instantaneous sources of Health, Magicka, and Stamina into duration based, price balanced effects.
Rescales existing duration-based consumables in terms of stats. (Ex. longer duration on resistance potions with reduced scale to magnitude.)
All craftable potions reflect this same effect as mentioned above.
Food gives small temporary buffs. Meat based meals are more biased towards health, whereas plant based meals are more biased towards stamina. Stews that have both will have some element of both stamina and health benefit. Some foods even have Magicka buffs as well.
Uncooked food will only have fortify effects. (Sorry Mr. Potato).
Does not add any extra ingredients or recipes. Uses existing vanilla recipes and ingredients.
This is to (hopefully) have a smoother gradient to alchemy scaling no matter what perk mods are used. No perks were modified in order to keep as much compatibility as possible.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
