About this mod Machine translation
Fixed the bug that the original plants would not grow back after being collected.
Fixed a bug where the plants should have been reborn but disappeared after reloading.
What this mod does:
Maybe you don’t know it, but you must have encountered this bug. Sometimes after you collect plants from a place, you may come back there and wonder, "Hey, why haven't these plants grown again?" This is a bug. FloraRespawnFix.esp will fix these bugs.
Since the 1.3 patch, there have been some bugs in Skyrim's engine. It cannot "remember" that plants, mushrooms, nests and some salmon have respawned. So you might go to a place and see everything is as it should be (i.e. respawned), but if you save and reload...poof! It disappears. You have to wait again for the cells to reset. You might not notice it, but I've seen it explained as "oh, the plants need to wait another 30 days to regenerate" (they shouldn't, they usually respawn on reset cells, like anything else, rather than just reloading and waiting another 30 days), or that some plants just don't respawn (they're supposed to) or whatever. No, this is a mistake. But most players are used to it.
Maybe players won't have to "get used" to this bug anymore. This mod can't directly fix Skyrim's engine, but it can change how these flora and fauna are handled by the executable so that they aren't affected by this bug.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
