About this mod Machine translation
Adds a floating health bar to any actor engaged in combat.
Requires SKSE64 2.0.16 or higher
Please note that this is obviously not an immersive mod.
What does it do?
Adds a floating health bar to any actor involved in combat (not real, just an illusion).
How does it work?
The SKSE plugin injects an extra layer into the HUD and internally registers a special HUD component for that layer. This layer is updated on a per-frame basis and converts the Actor's head position to screen position and scales accordingly based on depth (Quest markers follow the same concept). These bars also have line of sight checks to ensure you can actually see the Actor to see the health bar.
How to change bar color?
This can be done in the text file "Data\Interface\Exported\hud_extension_config.txt", the bars follow the gradient scheme. Leaving the secondary color at "-1" will automatically calculate the gradient end color.
How do I uninstall it?
Delete files contained in the archive:
data\interfaces\exports\hud_extension.swf
data\interfaces\exports\hud_extension_config.txt
data\interfaces\exports\meter.swf
data\skse\plugins\hudextension.dll
Known issues
If you load a save game that is currently involved in a battle, the actor's health bar will disappear during the battle

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
