Lonely Mortar Project
There used to be a mod called "Blue Palace is blue" on Oldrim, I couldn't find it so I made my own. Then I went ahead and fixed some marble and flooring, then I went ahead and fixed some stucco to keep it alone. Then I decided they should be stucco options.
So now I want to share it.
Just for the lore of it:
Each city had a blacksmith's shop, and several towns had a blacksmith's shop and mill. Skyrim has miners, merchants, hotel services, shipping industry, agriculture as well as full-fledged educational institutions where people can learn 4 songs. But what is noticeably lacking is Mason (especially since three of the four major cities are stone).
So entered Solitude Mortar Works; specializing in plaster, stucco, stone cutting, painting and general contractor services. Because "Skyrim is hard enough land that you don't need to worry about a roof above your head."
But, "Why are all the walls blue?" you ask? Well, since we made the paint from Ground Nightshade, which is very plentiful around Solitude...of course! Of course, there are other flowers available in other colors, but Nightshade's pigments and properties have proven to be very durable and capable of fading over time.
So you go to Lore Fanatics!
"No...Currently, Solitude Mortar Works has not been staffed or added locations in Skyrim, it has not added actual building services. Solitude Mortar Works has also not added quests, magic, wenches, plumbers, brothels, bathhouses or blackjack."
This is just a texture replacer!
Textures are all 2k (standard HD).
Use Main File AIO or Optionals, you don't need both.
Exterior stucco optional items cover each other so only one can be selected.
Wrong example:
Optional Blue Palace + Optional Repair Stucco + Optional Old World Stucco = Hard Times!
Gives you the default look of your AiO. Because the patched stucco file will be overwritten.
Good example:
Optional blue palace + optional refinished stucco or fresh paint = good times!
Interior Stucco (sstuccowall_int01.dds) is a shared texture set for all interiors. So they all turn blue.
Hope to get up soon. Now, just download the required file combination.
Texture replacer. There is no ESP or loading slot. Add or remove in-between playbacks completely safely.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
