About this mod Machine translation
Just allow you to loot, equip and train armor from Falx Carius. Can be used normally by both men and women. Various optional files with additional functionality are also included.
In the vanilla game, General Falx Carius (from the Dragonborn DLC) is one of the few NPCs who cannot loot equipment. This mod simply solves the problem without missing any weird features that need to be ignored. I know there are already several mods that do similar things, but as far as I know they all lack important features (e.g. no female models) and/or make some additional changes that some people may not be interested in.
This mod includes two major versions, choose one:
Simple:
Mark all of Falx Carius' armor as playable so that it can be looted and equipped
Allows all this armor to be tempered using Forge at the workbench
Includes appropriately textured ground object models (what you see in the inventory)
Includes a custom master model based on the male model, meaning it should be compatible with any direct texture replacer as they all share the same texture files
This version is intended to be as unobtrusive and "vanilla"-like as possible
Extensions:
Includes all features in the simple version
Allows you to use the forge to clean and refurbish Admiral Carius' armor, getting rid of ash, burn marks, and harnesses (see the optional file to keep the harness). This is a cosmetic change only; it does not affect attributes and requires the ability to craft Imperial Armor. Two different versions can be made, including one with gold trim instead of silver/steel trim.
None of these files change stats or armor types - it's still really just a retexture of General Tullius' armor.
There are also various optional files to customize the appearance of the armor (more than one can be used as appropriate):
Add legs to original and/or refurbished armor models
Putting the wiring harness back into the extended version of the refurbished version

In the vanilla game, General Falx Carius (from the Dragonborn DLC) is one of the few NPCs whose gear cannot be looted. This mod simply fixes that problem, without any weird missing functionality that needs to be overlooked. I am aware that there are already a couple of mods that do something similar to this, but as far as I can tell all of them are missing important functionality (e.g. no female model), and/or come with extra changes that some people might not be interested in.
This mod includes two main versions, choose one:
Simple:
Flags all of Falx Carius' armour as playable, allowing it to be looted and equipped
Allows all of this armor to be tempered using smithing at a workbench
Includes a properly textured ground object model (what you see in your inventory)
Includes a custom female model based on the male model, meaning it should be compatible with any direct texture replacer as they both share the same texture file
This version is intended to be as unnoticeable and "vanilla-like" as possible
Extended:
Includes all features from the simple version
Allows you to use smithing to clean up and refurbish General Carius' armour at a forge, getting rid of the ash, burn marks and harness (see optional files to keep the harness). This is a cosmetic change only; it does not affect the stats, and it requires the ability to craft imperial armour. There are two different versions that can be crafted, including one version with gold decorations instead of silver/steel.
None of these files change the stats or armour type - it is still effectively just a retexture of General Tullius' armour.
There are also various optional files to customize the appearance of the armour (multiple can be used as appropriate):
Add legs to the original and/or refurbished armour models
Put the harness back onto the refurbished model in the extended version

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
