About this mod Machine translation
This mod adds a very humble (and free) player's home just west of Fakelis. Just grab the key from the battlefield table in the Jarl Longhouse in Falkreas and you're good to go!
This is my first attempt at making a family mod, and only my third mod.
This mod adds a very modest player base on the road west of Falkreath, not far from the town itself. It's small and all you have is a bed, table, cooking pots and a few storage containers. There isn't any significant value inside and since it's free I think it would be a great starter home!
In addition to the safe and chest near the bed, there are four pieces named Breastplate: Armor, Weapon, and Mixture. Items and magic items/potions. The mods I make tend to be for my own convenience, so having a way to organize all the junk I'm hoarding is important to me! While I'm 99.9% sure you should be able to use these containers without issue, please save your game before using them. I really, really don't want to be responsible for anyone losing their hard earned items.
The home has a map marker visible from the start, but you can't fast travel until you discover it.
To enter the house, simply take the key from the war table in Jarl's Longhouse in Falkreath and follow the road heading west out of the city. It's not very far and not easy to miss.
I could definitely add more stuff (charming, alchemy, etc.) but this is my first time trying a player family mod and I'm a little overwhelmed! I absolutely love playing with player houses and I will try to include more in any future mods!
Please let me know what you think! I'm very new to this and I'd really appreciate any tips/suggestions/questions/comments!
Someone made a quick video showing off this mod! Take a look here!

This is my very first attempt at making a player home mod, and only my third mod ever.
This mod adds a very modest player home on the road heading west out of Falkreath, not very far from the town itself. It's quite small, and all you have inside is a bed, table, cooking pot, and several storage containers. There's nothing of significant value inside, and since it's free, I think this would make an excellent starter home!
In addition to a strongbox and chest next to the bed, there are also four named chests: armor, weapons, misc. items, and magic items/potions. The mods I make tend to be for my own convenience, so having a way to organize all the junk I'm hoarding is important to me! Although I'm 99.9% sure that you should be able to use these containers with no problem, please save your game before using them. I really, really don't want to be responsible for anyone losing their hard-earned items.
There's a map marker for the home that's visible from the start, but you can't fast travel there until you discover it.
To gain access to the house, just grab the key off the war table in the Jarl's Longhouse in Falkreath, and follow the road heading west out of town. It's not very far, and it's not easy to miss.
I definitely could've added more stuff (enchanting, alchemy, etc..) but this was my first attempt at a player home mod and I was a little overwhelmed! I'd definitely like to play around with player homes a bit more, and I'll try to include more stuff in any future mods I make!
Please let me know what you think! I'm very new at this and I'd really appreciate any tips/suggestions/questions/comments!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
