Beholder's Eye aims to make the eyes in the game look better (1k) and more aesthetically pleasing. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The model is currently incomplete and can only replace the eyes of humans, vampires, high elves and dark elves. True Eyes is required to download the Eye normal map to repair SSE. With the huge loss of real eyes, I felt like there was a hole missing. Thus, Eye of the Beholder was born.

Beholder's Eye is a texture model designed to make the eyes in the game look better in resolution and more beautiful. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The model is currently incomplete and can only replace the eyes of humans, vampires, high elves and dark elves.

The texture is 1k (4x larger than default, Total Character Makeover/Natural Eyes).

There is also a download that darkens brown eyes to better suit Asian player characters as well as more African-style Redguard characters.

There is also a module that makes blind eyes more realistic.

This model requires Eye Normal Map Fix SSE to get the correct normal map.

I plan to make my own, but with the True Eyes version installed, that mod will already fit perfectly since my textures and True Eyes use the same size aperture.

Please keep in mind: ENB and Lighting Mods may change colors slightly.

compatibility:

NPCs whose faces have been changed due to mods such as RS Children and the various Bijn mods will not be affected as they have unique eye textures packaged in the corresponding mods

Any complete character graphics overhaul, such as Total Character Makeover, is compatible, just install my mod and overwrite any files it asks for during installation.

Coming soon:

All racial textures are complete

New additional independent colors (optional download)

Mer's white eyeball color (optional download)

Standalone versions of all replacers (optional download)

Bijn mods eye changer/compatibility (optional download)

RS Children's Eye Changer/Compatibility (optional download)

Make a FOMOD, use the installer to combine the main file and all optional files into one download

With the great loss of True Eyes I felt a hole was missing to be filled. And thus Eyes of The Beholder was born.

Eyes of The Beholder is a texture mod that aims to make in-game eyes look better resolution, and more beautiful. Beauty is, of course, in the eye of the beholder. Currently the mod is incomplete, and only replaces Human, Vampire, High Elf and Dark Elf eyes.

Textures are 1k (4x bigger than default and Total Character Makeover/Natural Eyes).

There is also a download to make brown eyes darker, to fit better with Asian player characters and more African looking Redguard characters.

Additionally there is a mod to make the blind eye more realistic.

This mod requires Eye Normal Map Fix SSE for correct normal maps.

I was going to make my own, but that mod already fits perfectly if the version for True Eyes is installed, as my textures and True Eyes use the same size iris.

REMEMBER: ENB's and Lighting Mods may alter colours slightly.

Compatibility:

NPC's that have their faces changed by mods such as RS Children and the various Bijn mods will not be affected, as they have unique eye textures packaged in the respective mod

Any complete character graphic overhauls, such as Total Character Makeover, ARE compatible, just install my mod after and overwrite any files it asks about during installation.

Coming soon:

All races textures done

New additional standalone colours (optional download)

White Eyeball colour for Mer (optional download)

Standalone versions of all replacers (optional download)

Bijn mods eye replacers/compatibility (optional download)

RS children eye replacers/compatibility (optional download)

Make a FOMOD to consolidate the main and all optional files into one download with an installer

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
