About this mod Machine translation

Extra Dimensional Storage is a feature that gives you access to chests shared between all characters with this mod installed.

Also available on SKYRIM CLASSIC

background

While sleeping, you have a dream: you see someone you unconsciously recognize as a dragon, but you've never seen him before, and he doesn't seem to be aware of your presence.

As you try to interact with him, your vision quickly shifts to another Dragonborn: a Stormcloak, and then another: an Imperial...

It continues from one world to another, each world being identical to the one you live in but different with different heroes.

The last one didn't seem to realize that you were like the others, but, unlike them, he did something different: a shout you'd never seen before, and soon after, he looked over at you as he tried to hand you something you couldn't see, and you woke up to the knowledge of a new power.

How it works and used

When you install the mod, you will receive a new power-up called "Extra Dimensional Storage" which, when used, will open a container in which you can store or remove items.

After closing, the game will automatically save and its contents will be written to an external file (SKSE/Plugins/StorageUtilData/EDS.json).

This file is read and written every time the chest is accessed, allowing items to be persisted and saved across multiple characters.

Include sources, my suggestions on how to improve this mod or other features you'd like to add.

This model has been made to serve as a tool for role-playing: a miner sells ore to another dragon from another dimension in exchange for Septims or food, a warrior obtains an artifact or robe suitable for a mage in exchange for a sword charmed by a mage from another dimension, and so on.

The last one seems as unaware of you as the others but, unlike them, he does something different: A shout that you have never seen before, soon after, he looks right at you and as he tries to hand you something that you cannot see, you wake up, with the knowledge of a new power.

The source is included and I am open to suggestion as to how to improve this mod or additional features you want added.

This mod was made and can be used as a tool to roleplay: A miner selling ores to another Dragonborn of another dimension in exchange of Septims or food, A warrior obtaining an artifact or robe suited for a mage in exchange of a sword enchanted by a mage from another dimension, and so on.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
