Skyrim Extra Music Pack contains 28 new music for Skyrim, providing a more robust experience without taking away from the original experience. All tunes are composed by Finnish composer Matti Paalanen. I released some of my music as an Oblivion music pack back in the day and it got a great response, so I thought the music pack would gain some popularity in Skyrim as well. If you are interested please let me know and I can create more packages for Skyrim as well.

Install:

This one adds extra music without touching the original track at all. It basically just injects some music into playlists for outdoor, town, hotel and battle playlists. The extra music files will be located in the Data/Music folder, which should be empty in vanilla Skyrim.

Just unzip the zip into the Data folder in the Skyrim directory. It will unzip the plug-in files and all wav files under the Music folder. The only problem that might arise is if some other music package happens to have the same file name, then that music package is not compatible with your current plugin, so you shouldn't use it.

Merge with other music models:

You can merge it with other music mods using this tool: Mod Merge Tool - I haven't used it myself so I can't give a better indication, but I hope it's relatively simple.

Custom tips:

If you find that certain tunes don't work for you and don't want to edit the actual files in Skyrim Editor, you can replace the actual .WAV files in the Music folder with other files. If you keep the name the same, the mod will work as is. You can use some .WAV files from the mod by copying and renaming them, or you can use your own .WAV files.

Uninstall:

Just check which wav files are included in the zip and delete them from the Data/Music subfolder of your Skyrim installation.

YOUTUBE NOTE:

All music is part of the Youtube Content ID system, so if you use this package when making a gaming video, the video may be tagged. It is best not to use this package when creating gaming videos. However, if you still want to make youtube videos, you have two options:

• After posting the video, please contact me here and let me know and I can parse the code for you within 24-48 hours

• You can keep the tag and support me through ad revenue to keep me a happy composer!
