About this mod Machine translation

Allowing player expressions and idle animations, customizable emotions can be played at any time via up to 30 configurable hotkey configurations.

I decided to make this mod because I realized that in every screenshot, my character was standing blankly on the board, always with a blank expression, and no other mod allowed for simple animations to be played without a lot of menus.

I set this module up to be incredibly customizable; you have 10 base hotkeys and two modifier hotkeys, initially set to Left Shift and Left Alt, which allows you to play up to three animations per hotkey, and up to 30 animations through the hotkeys. These hotkeys also allow you to play these animations within the dialog box. I've also included the option to add a smaller ability to each animation, in case you have more animations you want to play without setting another hotkey.

Each animation can also give the player an expression while the animation lasts. The expression of each animation is tracked individually, as well as the expression strength of each animation.

Finally, each animation can be enabled and disabled, and if they are disabled, they will not appear in any other pages or lists on the MCM page, making the page less cluttered.

There are 90 animations available through this module, which I labeled Expression, Idle, and Walk. Expressions are simple animations that only play once and do not loop. IDLES is a looping animation until you press the Cancel key (originally set to E.). Walks are also looping animations, but they allow you to move around, again you need to press the Cancel key to stop the animation. Some loop animations also have additional animations, which are represented as a "+" in the game if the hotkey or smaller power-up associated with them is activated again.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
