Dark Souls Combat Overhaul
What’s annoying about Skyrim? Skyrim!
Make it a dark soul.
Even though there are only 8 minutes in the video where the modlist is created (the last 4 minutes are dedicated to DSCO), I know it might be troublesome for some people to watch, so I've included the modlist below.
In the guide, I built the modlist step by step to give you all the gameplay tips.
So far, even though many mods feature Dark Souls functionality, we still haven't really been able to get an experience close to it.
Here's an explanation for why Dark Souls isn't a stronger version of Skyrim. Dark Souls is more punishing, but fairer
If you don't want to give your game a soul, then I recommend watching it to understand why sometimes dying is inevitable and skills don't matter.
Full gameplay is in the guide. This is a simplified version with the part where I died cut out

Speed and range fixes
SkySA

TUDM - TUDM is resurrected (don't forget the Violens patch)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
