A way to add modded armor to the game so that they can only spawn as full armor sets. Script free

The usual traditional way of adding model armor in the game is through crafting/console or through leveled lists.

The problem with tiered lists is that they are broken down per slot rather than per gear. So when you give the game 50 new armors via leveled lists, your chances of seeing the full set on an NPC are very rare.

My mod is designed to allow most encounters with the game's NPCs to spawn a full set of armor. This mod does not cover all NPCs, only many bandits, forswords, warlocks, necromancers, vampires, Thalmor. I've designed it so people can add their own settings fairly easily, and I'll have a video overlay in the video section.

Most named NPCs are set in specific outfits. Many are just linked to random pieces of clothing. I have another mod here that expands to take a similar setup so people can add full outfits for merchants, innkeepers, farmers, fine clothes, etc.

This is all done via standard logging. ZERO script.

Frequently Asked Questions for Couples

Does this replace the merged level list with a flat patch?

No, you still want to do the bashed patches with the rest of your list, just don't include this mod. Put this mod at the end of the mod list.

Does this cover all NPCs?

No, I chose equipment records that would reach a large number of NPCs shown in the instruction video.

Does this mod add clothing?

No, it's just changing some gear records and making new ones. If you have armor installed, all armor will be from the vanilla game or any replacements.

What clothing does it support?

All vanilla costumes are included (and a few DLC costumes), and I have the version with the Legendary Dx Collection integrated. I will do the next amazing world of bikinis

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
