describe
Enhanced enemy AI is a non-lightweight script made by Erkeil, but an effective enhancement to Skyrim combat.
If you're looking for a combat mode that improves Skyrim's combat system without modifying other game settings, this might be the mode for you! But its simplicity also makes it compatible with most popular battle modes.
All enemies in the base game + DLC (except dragons) have had their combat style improved, giving them the intelligence they lacked.
Warriors will frequently hit, parry, and attack with power. If you're too defensive, they'll be more aggressive, and if you're too defensive, they won't hesitate to push you back.
Mages use more spells, especially defensive spells.
Animals adopt more realistic behaviors, being more or less aggressive depending on their species.
The best way to figure out if you like this mod's changes is to try it out! Install it, rush to the nearest bandit camp and notice the difference immediately!
I've only recently started playing Skyrim SE, and I was surprised to find out that this gem hasn't been ported yet.
This is my big contribution to the modding community! Hope you will like it!
Install/Uninstall
This mod is a simple ESP. You can install and uninstall it at any time during your adventure.
Place EEAI directly in your data folder, or use your favorite mod manager.
If you decide to uninstall it, enemies will simply revert to Skyrim's original fighting style (which isn't that great, let's admit it).
compatibility
Since this mod only edits combat styles, it is compatible with 99% of all Skyrim mods, as well as most combat mods.
The only mods that conflict are the ones I'll list below. Conflict does not mean incompatibility! While improving your combat style with enhanced enemy AI, you still have access to combat module features.
Make sure to put this mod after/below other combat mods in your load order!

-All Dragon MODs

-Ultimate battle
-vitality
Conflicting Mods:

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
