Azincourt

This stunning historic Bastard Sword features accurate dimensions and excellent grain detail.

The sword takes its name from the Battle of Azcourt on October 25, 1415, where Henry V's tired, sick, and hungry English troops faced a confident French foe who outnumbered them four to one. Forced into battle and desperate, they defeated the French and massacred the flower of French nobility.

This sword is a tribute to this amazing conflict, a sword that can be seen serving on both sides.

Oakeshott describes the Type XV as a strongly tapered, sharp diamond cross-section blade. Subtype XVa is generally longer and slimmer than type XV, but the main difference is the longer grip. This sword is called the epéebâtarde or "bastard sword".

Where to find it: Rimerock Burrow, Frostmere Crypt.

shimmer

A beautiful bastard sword, designed to a high standard. Can only be crafted in the Sky Tier, with slightly changed "Ebony" stats, although it is a Steel weapon, found under the Steel section.

2048x2048 textures and low polygon models. Glimmer is a two-handed/one-handed sword suitable for advanced players. Witchers Glimmer has a silver ward that kills "dark" creatures faster, while regular glimmers remain unaffected and await personal contact from the player.

Where to find it: Bonechill Passage, Riften's Temple of the Dead, Exterior of Guldun Rock, King's Palace.

Cyrodilic Steel Dagger

This dagger is inspired by the Cyrodilic Steel Dagger from TES:IV. After the Annihilation crisis ended, and with the dawn of the Third Age, blacksmiths discovered new, more cost-effective ways to create steel daggers. As a result, the iconic Cyrodilic Steel Dagger is no longer found in regular blacksmith forges. The dagger itself did not disappear entirely, instead it became a weapon of a higher standard, usually carried by senior personnel. This is how it looks in Skyrim. Eorlund Graymane's recipe for this iconic dagger recently emerged!

Where to find it: House Grey-Mane.

The Azincourt

A stunning historically inspired bastard sword with accurate dimensions and great texture detail.

This sword is named for the battle of Azincourt, October 25, 1415, where the exhausted, sick and starving English army of Henry V was faced by a confident French foe outnumbering them four to one. Forced into battle and against all odds, they defeated the French and slaughtered the flower of French nobility.

This sword is a tribute to that stunning conflict and is one type of sword that would have seen service on both sides.

Oakeshott describes the Type XV as a strongly tapering, acutely pointed blade of flattened diamond cross-section. The sub-type XVa is often longer and slimmer than the Type XV, but with the primary difference being the longer grip. This type of sword was referred to as an epée bâtarde or "bastard sword."

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
