Edendel's folly
(Created for original Skyrim not SE, only released on Steam Workshop in 2012)
On the hills south of Castle Greymore there is an ancient Nord ruin, which at some point was renamed the Mines of Halmin. It waits to attract unfortunate souls and allow a doomed adventurer to discover its story, its treasures, a missing merchant and a mysterious sword of the wise. To do this, they need to follow clues, dispatch ghosts and bandits, solve puzzles and defeat invincible enemies.
These tasks are intentionally challenging. The main opponent in the first position may be easy or impossible to kill depending on how you handle it. All the clues you need are in the journals found during the search (3 in total).
The action then moves to the second location, where players can begin to learn more about the Archmage and discover one of his constructs, which will allow you to change the weapon in which the Bafungram resides.
==========
Bafungram, the talking sword:
Discovered at the end of the Harimins Mine quest, he is Buldur's Gate's homage to Lilacor (some of his verses come from Baldur's Gate, as well as a few other cultural references). He starts with an enchanted greatsword that deals electrical damage, and can trap souls or absorb health, stamina, or Magicka via dialogue options.
Pick him up and prepare to talk to him for the first time, after which you can use your powers to talk to him. Talking to him gives you options for ward usage and tremor frequency. Once equipped, he will regularly collect conditional comments and when used in battle, he will be in his own state.
(Dialogue is handled via a script, which plays clips based on the situation, such as: stealth, hits, player stats, and Bafungram's current status).

Revision:
V2.5 June 2020: Updated and improved writing to make tasks clearer. Made some adjustments to some voice files. Made some adjustments to the interior to fix some graphical issues and fill in some areas.
V2.5b: Added necessary files that were missing from the first upload.
V2.5c: Then remove unnecessary files included in the second upload.
V2.5d: Added some scripts that were missing from previous uploads, preventing the merchant's dialogue from taking you away from the second part of the mission.
V2.5e: Removed various unwanted edits and unused locations.
(Earlier versions were only available on Steam Workshop)
July 2012 Version 2: Added new quest in new dungeon location using machine to convert Bafungram into other weapon types. If the player already has Bafungram, the script will remove the old version and add the new version along with the "Talk to People" feature. The script has been removed from the weapon itself as this conflicts with the display.
Version 1, May 2012: Lowered the volume and modified the sound file, changing the behavior of the bandit leader.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
