About this mod Machine translation

Replaces vanilla Ebony Mail with black engraved Norse engraved armor.

This is a replacement for the Ebony Mail you receive when completing Boethiah's questline. Vanilla was tasty, but I originally wanted something more suited to Skyrim's Mako (or any hero who likes fur and strong metal). I replaced the model with Norse sculpted armor and darkened the textures to black and dark gray. This replaces the male, female and ground grids. I wanted to replace the female version with a bikini, which I'm not used to, but I decided to make this more friendly. I might as well make the Giants club available, just for fun.

All in all, this is more or less a straight port of the Oldrim version I did and it seems to be working so far. I didn't change the menu model so it still looks like vanilla ebony mail.

This is a replacer for the Ebony Mail you receive for completing Boethiah's questline. The vanilla is nice and all, but I originally wanted something that fit better with a True Son of Skyrim (or any Hero that favors furs and strong metal). i replaced the model with the Nordic Carved armor, and darkened the textures to be black and dark grey. This replaces the male, female, and ground meshes. i thought about replacing the female version with a bikini, as is my wont, but I decided to make this more lore friendly. I may have also made Giant Clubs playable, just for funsies.

All in all, this is more or less a direct port of the Oldrim version I did, and it seems to work so far. I didn't change the menu model, so that'll still look like the vanilla Ebony Mail.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
