About this mod Machine translation
Earthquakes are added from time to time for more immersion. Permission granted by MannyGT!
Before people ask things like this..."Is this realistic?"..."Did the building collapse?" blah blah blah.
Take this mod with a grain of salt.
*Overview*
This mod adds earthquake events during matches. It's customizable, it has sounds and visual effects.
This mod is also safe and compatible with any mod!
Fully compatible with official DLC
This is a perfect "must have" for anyone who owns the Dragonborn DLC
*How does this work*
Based on the basic settings, you have a 5% chance of a seismic event with random duration and intensity, looping every 120 seconds. Built on mission scenarios, it can be customized via the console.
All standing NPCs around you will be staggered and you will flinch. You can jump during earthquakes.
Dragons are immune to the effects of earthquakes.
*MOD CONFIGURATION MENU (MCM) available*
*Command console for customization*
Set eq_Percentage to X.X.
where X.X is a floating point number set between 0.0 and 100.0. This value represents the probability of an earthquake occurring.
100.0 means an earthquake will occur at the beginning of each mission scenario. Otherwise 0.0 means the earthquake will never occur.
Set eq_Timing to Y.Y.
Where Y.Y is a floating point number, set the minimum value to 60.0. This value sets the "pause" between task scenes.
In either command, be sure to never use integers, so:
Setting eq_Percentage to 50 -> incorrect
Set eq_Percentage to 50.0 -> correct
setStage mannyEQ 100
This command shows the actual settings. It pauses the game showing a message box with the set value.
To continue, return to the game and simply click the OK button.
setStage mannyEQ 255
This command generates an instant earthquake. For demonstration purposes.
*Install*
NMM, or if you use manual installation, just place the ESP and BSA files and activate it via the menu launcher.
*uninstall*
The correct way to uninstall a mod is:
- Open the console command and type: stopQuest MannyEQ
- Wait at least the same number of seconds as the eq_Timing parameter (default is 2 minutes), so check your clock or kill a dragon in the meantime
- Create a new save game
- Exit Skyrim and disable my mods.
- Reload the save game and make a brand new game.
- Exit Skyrim, restart Skyrim and continue playing your latest game.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
