What does this MOD do?
NPCs will wear different costumes depending on the situation.
Most NPCs will only wear hats/caps/helmets if it's raining or snowing. Vampires also wear hoods on sunny days.
Some NPCs only wear gloves when it snows.
Armored NPCs usually remove their helmets when not engaged in combat.
Some NPCs will not wear armor while sleeping.
With Cloaks and Capes Patch installed, some people wear capes when it snows. Uniformed NPCs like guards always wear cloaks.
This part is random, but within a very narrow range. For example, farmers can wear different farm clothes on Monday instead of Tuesday, but they will never change into noble clothes. Peasants only wear farmer's hats, and mages only wear mage hats.
To prevent a long list of potential problems, followers will not change their outfits when following you.
There may be some minor balance changes, but they are kept to a minimum. For example, I only added high-level armor to NPCs, which are always essential and cannot become followers. This should work with mods like MorrowLoot Ultimate.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
