About this mod Machine translation
Customize your own dwemerbot follower like Fallout 4: Automatron. (Requires Dwarven Modular Automaton model)
A customizable follower model of the dwarven modular automaton, in the vein of Fallout 4: Automatron. Khajiit merchant Ri'saad now sells a Dwemer Control Rod and will start looking to buy his own Dwemer automaton!
Building and upgrading your followers is done in the new Dwemer Workshop, located on the mountain pass above Windhelm. There is a short dungeon to complete before you activate the minion.
Instead of using dialogue like normal Skyrim fans, use the Dwemer Control Rod to control the follower construct, which creates a popup that lets you select commands. This includes all standard follower commands, although trading is only possible if the follower is close to you.
Once you complete your followers, other automatons will wake up throughout Skyrim. If you have followers, they will randomly attack you in the wilderness. Otherwise, you may find them aimlessly attacking local wildlife.
Schematics for the other components of your minion can be found on enemy automata that spawn on the ground. Just loot the corpses and you'll automatically get any unowned schematics. (The script to do this is a bit fiddly and I can't really figure it out.)
Known issues
Until the follower is constructed, it will simply relax in the forge, playing regular idle instead of off. Not sure how to break SE.
During the completion of the construction, there are no activation prompts for the following construction. You need to activate it whenever a quest marker points to it.
The minion starts with an empty body and a foot slot. Any armor you provide for these slots may be equipped, causing its body parts to disappear. After upgrading its core and lower components, this issue will no longer occur.

A customizable follower mod for Dwarven Modular Automaton in the vein of Fallout 4: Automatron. The Khajiit merchant Ri'saad now sells a Dwemer Control Rod that will start the quest to acquire your own Dwemer automaton!
Constructing and upgrading your follower is done at a new Dwemer workshop, located in the mountain pass above Windhelm. There is a short dungeon to complete before you can activate the follower.
Instead of using dialogue like normal Skyrim followers, the follower construct is controlled using the Dwemer Control Rod, which creates a popup box that lets you select your command. This includes all the standard follower commands, although you may only trade if the follower is close to you.
Additional automatons will awaken throughout Skyrim once you complete the follower. When you have the follower with you, they will randomly attack you in the wilderness. Otherwise, you may find them aimlessly attacking local wildlife.
Schematics for additional components for your follower are found on the enemy automatons that spawn above ground. Simply loot their dead bodies and you will acquire any unowned schematics automatically. (The script that does this is a little pokey, nothing I can really do to fix it.)
Known Issues
Before the follower construct is completed, it will just chill in the forge, playing regular idles instead of being shut down. Not sure how that got broken for SE.
The follower construct doesn't have an activation prompt during the quest to complete its construction. Whenever the quest marker is pointing at it, you need to activate it.
The follower starts out with empty body and feet slots. Any armor you give it for these slots may become equipped, resulting in those parts of its body disappearing. This issue will no longer occur once you upgrade its core and lower components.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
