Dwarf Dragon Resources

This model is from RoboBirdie's New Dragon Resource Pack. Out of the box, the textures don't display correctly because the paths are drive specific. I've corrected it so most components of the mesh should point to whatever texture you want to use it for:

Enemy: Dwarven Ball Centurion

Enemy: Dwarf Ball Cannon Centurion

Chaos: dwarvenrugs01

Dungeon: dwemetalsheet01

The blue object on the torso uses the custom 1K version of the Steam centurion diffusion texture included in the resource pack. I've pointed the arm-leg limbs to the same file, even though the part is a separate trishape block on the mesh; this relieves the VRAM load for those who are mindful of texture loads - if other users want to see the Steam centurion texture replacer used on Dwemer Dragon, the limb texture paths can be edited in nifskope.

The mesh has been processed in SSE Nif Optimizer.

The non-custom textures in the screenshots use Wolflord13's Dwemer Automatons HD and Langley02's Dwemer Metal Retexture. I forget what I installed for the dwarf rug, but it was probably Gamwich's Rugnarok.

Notes on using as a substitute:

The file size is smaller than some of the Dwarf Robo-Dragon models included with Skyrim Immersive Creatures, so RoboBirdie's Dragon could be an effective mesh replacer for SIC users if they want to make the things their mecha encounters sometimes look slimmer.

The dwarf dragon ("void dragon") in Chaos Dragons has a plasma aura mesh that is equipped like armor and makes the wings look cool. Replacing the dragon with RoboBirdie's model results in graphical glitches and clipping of the canvas's wings.

This model is from RoboBirdie's New Dragon Resource pack. Out-of-the-box, the textures didn't display correctly because the paths were drive-specific. I corrected them so most components of the mesh should point to whatever textures you're using for:

enemy: dwarven sphere centurion

enemy: dwarven ballista centurion

clutter: dwarvenrugs01

dungeon: dwemetalsheet01

The blue thing on its torso uses a custom 1K version of the steam centurion diffuse tex from the resource pack. I've set up the arm-leg limbs to point to the same file even though that part is a separate trishape block on the mesh; this reduces the VRAM burden for users who are mindful of their texture load - other users may edit the limbs texture path in nifskope if they want to see steam centurion texture replacers applied on the dwemer dragon.

The mesh has been processed in SSE Nif Optimizer.

The non-custom textures in my screenshots use Wolflord13's Dwemer Automatons HD and Langley02's Dwemer Metal Retexture. I forget what I have installed for the dwarven rug, but it's probably Gamwich's Rugnarok.

A note about use as a replacer:

The file size is smaller than some of the dwarven mechanical dragon models included in Skyrim Immersive Creatures, so RoboBirdie's dragon could be a valid mesh replacer for SIC users if they want mecha encounters to sometimes have a slimmer look.

The dwarven dragon ("Aetherial Dragon") included in Chaos Dragons has a plasma-like aura mesh which it equips like an armor piece to make its wings look cool. Replacing the dragon with RoboBirdie's model will result in a graphical glitch that clips with the canvas wings.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
