About this mod Machine translation
Grid fixing greatly reduces draw on Dwemer Steam, Sphere, and Spider Centurions.
What is a lottery call?
--------------------------------
In short: a draw call is the number of objects the game has to render simultaneously.
Why do we need to fix it?
----------------------------------Each grid in .nif format can contain multiple different subgrids or subshapes.
Each of these subgrids is treated as 1 separate object by the renderer.
So, for example, a .nif with 14 NiTriShapes will be more taxing on your hardware than a .nif with 2 NiTriShapes (*all other properties being equal)
In the case of Dwemer Centurions, they have a ridiculously high number of NiTriShapes which are not necessary.
So I just "solved" that problem
Number of NiTriShapes: Before -> After
-------------------------------------------------- --------
Steam Centurion: 15->1
Spherical Centurion: 42->1
Spider Centurion 14->1
How much performance improvement can we expect?
-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------
I don't really know if there will be a significant impact on performance, but logic suggests that this might save some fps where there are a lot of such mechanics in the scene.
This mod is free, takes no .esp slot, and may improve performance. It should be easy.

What are Draw-calls?
--------------------------------
In short: Draw-Calls are the number of objects the Game has to render at the same time.
Why do we need a fix?
---------------------------------
Each mesh in.nif format can contain multiple different sub-meshes or sub-Shapes.
Each of these sub-meshes gets treated as 1 seperate object by the renderer.
So a.nif with 14 NiTriShapes for Example will put more strain on your Hardware than a.nif with 2 NiTriShapes (*all other attributes beeing equal)
In the case of the Dwemer Centurions they had an absurdly high amount of NiTriShapes that were just not nessessary.
So i simply "fixed" That Problem
Number of NiTriShapes: Before -> After
----------------------------------------------------------
Steam Centurion: 15 -> 1
Sphere Centurion: 42 -> 1
Spider Centurion 14 -> 1
How much performance improvement can we expect?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't really know if there is any significant performance impact but logic dictates that this will possibly save some fps where there are large amounts of these mehses in the scene.
This mod is free, takes no.esp slots and can possibly improve performance. Should be a no-brainer.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
