Notice
This is not my mod! The creator/author Imperator3 allowed me to upload this to SkyrimNexus from www.modgames.net.
I've tweaked some things and added a new flashlight that has the same brightness and radius as the vanilla flashlight.
In my spare time, I'll do my best to apply patches to any bugs I can. So far I've lowered the brightness and radius of the flashlight, and removed it from the graded list, so now in SSE you shouldn't run into the guards you carry with you anymore.
include-
Eight independent Dwemer torches (killer friendly)!
Dwemer Torch (Red)
Dwemer Torch (Orange)
Dwemer torch (yellow)
Dwemer torch (green)
Dwemer torch (cyan)
Dwemer Torch (Purple)
Dwemer Torch (White)
Dwemer Torch (Dim White) - This torch is brighter than the vanilla torch in the game.
You can find these lamps in a chest inside the Mzulft Storage Wing on the path to Mzulft's Dwarven Ruins.
Alternatively, you can add it to your manifest by accessing the console and typing help "dwemer torch"
compatibility-
And I'm 99% sure there aren't any incompatibilities with this mod,
Unless you have something that changes the Mzulft Dwemer ruins warehouse, I doubt it.
I'm told that a flashlight used for realistic lighting won't have any effect on these.
If you find anything please leave a comment or PM me.
notes!
- Previous versions of this mod in Oldrim had torches in the level list or any other level,
As such, you'll find them wearing guards and similar items, which is somewhat obsessive considering the rarity and uniqueness of these items.
I finally figured out how to remove them from the level list, so now you should only be able to find them in the Mzulft inventory or console.
(let me know if this works for you)
-Basically, they function as torches. You can block with them and hit hard with them.
When you hit hard with them, they will set fire to your enemies like vanilla torches.
- The light is very bright, brighter than a vanilla torch, perfect for a mod that darkens nights and dungeons!
If you find these TOO too bright, then I've added a new flashlight with the same brightness and radius as the vanilla flashlight!
Again, it's basically a dimmer for the white torch, but with the same brightness and radius as the vanilla torch.
-This is not my MOD. Imperator3, the author and creator of modal, did a great job uploading it to SkyrimNexus from modgames.net.
-This is also the first mod I uploaded anywhere. I'm pretty confident I'm doing it right, but if I mess up somewhere please let me know so I can fix it.
Future plans:
-Make them craftable (possibly used with glass, dwarf ingots/metals, glowing mushrooms, glowing dust, etc.)
-Carry out some kind of exploration to fulfill these in-game needs. (And maybe a medium-sized dwarven ruin to delve into the schematics of the production?)
-Find some way to make them glow when you take them out of your inventory. (This has been asked twice and I don't understand it yet.)
Points/Shout!
- Imperator3, the actual author from www.modgames.net, used to create this mod and asked me to upload and share it with SkyrimNexus!
-Bethesda has such a great game series!
-SkyrimNexus, showed me how fun it is to mod a game and I will probably never switch back to a console, haha!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
