SKSE plugin lets players block attacks when dual-wielding (two weapons or weapons + spells)
describe
This is a Skyrim VR mod/SKSE VR addon that combines to allow players to block while dual-wielding.
This was done by basically re-examining the conditions under which the game normally checks for blocking without double-swiping (well, I tried to mimic the existing behavior as well as I could - I think it's pretty close).
Currently I've only tested this on the Oculus Rift as I don't have any other headsets.
usage
Block with your weapon as usual, but now you can do it with a weapon or spell in your other hand.
You need to hold a weapon in your main hand (right hand if playing LH mode, left hand if playing LH mode) - this is Skyrim's fault, not mine.
If you have weapons in both hands, you can block with either hand. If you have a weapon and a spell, then you can only block it with your weapon, which must be in your main hand.
If you change left-hand mode settings during playback, reload the save.

Install
Use the mod manager, or manually copy the files into the Data folder.
If you have version 1.0, please update to 1.1 and clean your save as it removes the .esp and papyrus scripts.

Block with your weapon the way you normally would if you were one handing, but now you can do it with a weapon or spell in your other hand.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
