Hi everyone, this is my first time playing Skyrim, so please be patient and let me know if you have any questions.
I like druids and ESO's Warden, but vanilla Skyrim doesn't have anything like it. This mod is about adding some shaman/druid based spells to the game, some of the spells I've given away as well, using the "Forsaken Staff" mod.
include:
There are only 6 spells (more planned) - each with unique visual effects - at the moment they are very basic, but hope you like them.
They include:
Swarm (cast continuously): Swarm enemies with insects that devour their life force. (with staff)
Poison Mushroom: Creates a small area of mushrooms that eats the life force of enemies in the area. (with staff)
Tree of Life: Summons a tree that restores the health of allies in the area.
Healing Swarm: A swarm of insects surrounds you to restore health.
Summon Spriggan: Summons a Spriggan to aid you for 120 seconds. (with staff)
Summon Bear: Summons a bear to aid you for 120 seconds. (with staff)
I hope to add more spells in the future. Be careful with the poisonous mushroom spell, it damages summons and allies, I'm still trying to figure out how to make it not do that.
Planned spells/updates:
The following work is currently being carried out:
-Level list/or world spawn for these items (1/2 completed)
-Transmutation spell, like animal form or something like that.
Completed:
- Fixed spell damage and costs, especially poisonous mushrooms and swarms
How to get spells and staffs:
New/more immersive way:
There is a chest in "The Broken Tower", which is an abandoned camp, (the Abandoned Oath is a shaman, so I decided to put it in one of their camps). However, I have plans to make quests and other, more immersive means of gaining spells and pillars in the future.
Old way/fast way:
They are in a box called "Druid Item Box". As long as you press this small key, you can enter: Help "Druid Item Box" 4 to get ID Card Placeatme (ID) 1
A chest will spawn at your location, containing all spells and wands.
Incompatibilities/Requirements:
None, (should be) there are no other dependencies for this mod or any other conflicts...
How to install:
Beyond .zip folder
Place the contents in the data folder. (I believe you already know this)
Thank you again, I really hope you enjoy it, please let me know what you think and if you have any spelling requests.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
