how to start

Find Borlan in Winterhold's Frozen Hearth. Follow the first quest marker and then yourself.

Suggestions/Tips

• I highly recommend using SSE Engine Repair!
• This is a SOLO adventure for Dragonborn, so any fans please wait before starting. (No, not all of these are NavMeshed, and even if they are, there are many areas of the platform that NPCs can't navigate.)
• Don't clean it in xEdit! The mod has been cleaned up before. In a few areas everything else is needed to prevent CTD. If you clean it up, don't expect my help when you run into some problems.
• Although there is no level requirement, the higher the better (40+ is recommended).
• I highly recommend using a clean master file.
• I highly recommend saving a new slot for this quest (as with any other quest mod).
• Try to avoid console commands or cheats when playing this mod.
• Go all the way to the end of the main quest (False Awakening) for the best experience... Also try to complete Lorcano's quest, Fallen Truth.
• Explore and try different paths...you can find equipment and equipment that will give you a huge advantage against the powerful enemies within.

-Mid-Advanced Computer Recommended... There are some areas with a lot of detail, which means heavily modeled games with 4K textures may have more performance issues/crashes (this mod works flawlessly during gameplay with vanilla, so if you run into issues you may have conflicts or memory overload).

• Some objectives are "hidden" but through exploration, talking to certain NPCs, and some thinking, the objectives become clear.
• If you find and use a teleportation spell, cast it from within to prevent floating grassworms.

I don't recommend:

-Mods or ENBs can significantly reduce the lighting in dungeons (some interior spaces are large and spacious, and if they are too dark and you can't see anything, the effect is ruined).

• Bigger Trees mod of any kind...some may hinder certain aesthetics.
• Try to "break" the pattern...if it doesn't look like you should be somewhere, there's probably not much to do or see there.

Known errors

• There may be random CTDs in certain areas of the game in heavy mode (lots of 4k textures, high poly objects, etc.).
• Some lights flicker
• Occasional enemies will not attack
• Some ENB configurations may have lighting issues.. If something looks like that, try temporarily disabling the ENB (usually shift + f12)
• If you don't get the correct sky/weather in World Axis (Sovngarde sky should be used), open and close the world map... sometimes it may not load correctly.
• Sometimes music tracks may not play when entering a new environment. You can try waiting for a while, or exit/re-enter.
• Dying and reloading autosaves may rarely cause NPCs (enemy and friendly alike) to disappear on reload... I have no idea what causes this, but if anyone has some insight I'd love to know your thoughts on this.
• Some very small gaps that I haven't noticed until now...will be fixed in an update.
