Flashback to the summer of 2017: The Tarot Queen finally gets a non-potato computer. She decided to get the Skyrim Special Edition after being stuck on the non-DLC PS3 version for five years. When she finally enters the DLC completely blind, she discovers that one of them revolves around Hermaeus Mora, her favorite prince of Delia. Fangirling is getting more intense. However, things go south when she learns the Conjure Seeker spell and discovers that it doesn't apply to the Conjuration skill tree.
This mod is a solution to this problem. I find that most mods that claim to solve this problem are ignored with no hope of fixing them in the future, or they add a lot of stuff to the game that makes it too complex for my liking. With that in mind, I sat down and made my own. This mod fixes the Conjure Seeker spell so it 100% works with the Conjuration skill tree. And not just Twin Souls; it also works with Atromancy and Elemental Potency. The Conjure Ash Spawn spell also gets the same treatment. As for the Ash Guardian spell, it's like a rune, so I left it like that. Only one rune at a time!
This is not available for all this mod. I added a Conjure Lurker spell that also works in the Conjuration skill tree. I went and placed the Conjure Lurker tome in the hands of Apocrypha. Wherever there is a book for seekers, there is also a book for lurkers. Since the Lurker spell is an expert spell, it should start popping up in Apocrypha at Conjuration level 65, but if you don't want to wait that long, the item code is 'xx014f84'. A word of warning: Lurkers are huge. They were the same size as giants and mammoths. Pay attention to where they are called. If you summon them in a small space, it may not work properly.
How did I get this to work? The solution is very simple. Keywords. Basically, I made Seeker and Lurker work like Frost Atronach and Storm Atronach respectively. Why didn't anyone solve this problem sooner? I have no idea. The more powerful versions of Seeker and Lurker are Seeker Aspirant and Lurker Guardian. I don't want to use any of the higher level variants because I care about keeping things fair and balanced. In addition, the powerful Ash Spawn is obviously a higher level.
This mod uses little to no scripts, so it should be compatible with anything. Well, except for any other mod that changes Dragonborn spells in any way. Installation and uninstallation are as easy as adding and removing .esp files. Put it at the bottom of the load order, or LOOT tells you where to put it.
May Lord Mora continue to inspire you.

This mod is the remedy to that problem. Most of the mods that I've found that claim to fix this are bugged out with no hope of being fixed in the future, or they add a bunch of things to the game that make it too complicated for my liking. That's not all this mod does. I added a Conjure Lurker spell that also works with the Conjuration skill tree. I went and hand-placed the Conjure Lurker tome in …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
