replica
I decided to give the display a higher priority than the original item when you manually place the copy. This causes the MCM menu to list some Requiem items as "<item>(copy)", but it's just a visual effect, when you place the original tune it will be counted as well. The second thing about replicas is that the recipe for making the replica should be exactly the same as the original item (just without the requirement for a crafting surcharge), and the value of the replica should be equal to the value of the base item (e.g., making a replica of the complete Ethereum set, it will use the same materials you would normally use to make an entire dwarven set, and be worth a pretty penny). Additionally, when sorting using Display Prep Station, the system will always prioritize original documents over copies, which is the default "legacy" behavior. If you want to prioritize the copy, just collect or equip the original item.
Balance changes
There aren't many, I got most of them from lilmoefow (also the author of the Requiem-Armor Replacer patch). It mainly contains graded list changes to include older card sets and new books. He also changed the backpack recipes to make it more immersive, the smelter doesn't give XP for smelting by default, and some lists include ingredients/food added by Requiem, so basically he discovered it as he played and adjusted it accordingly. Therefore, there are some archeology perks to make it affordable for you. What I've added to myself is a couple of ring balance changes that you can spot very early in the game and are very powerful (for Requiem standards). By looking at older versions of the addon, I haven't seen an item that is too powerful for Requiem other than those rings. But of course, if you find something that feels too hard, let me know and I'll take a look.
Updates and new content
Please note that if I update the mod to include the new display, a new game will be required. Even if you already have Legacy installed, I still recommend playing a new game (from the main menu, not from "New Save"). But if I change things like meshes or textures based on the problem, or use an existing monitor to fix a bug, then a new game isn't needed. Regarding new content - I'm open to suggestions and your ideas, so please share what you'd like to see. I've been thinking of including specific elements of the Requiem and maybe some books (most notably The Smithy), as well as a "light display". It would be cool to have a relationship with them, but I haven't decided what to do with it yet.
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy this patch :)
special thanks
The folks at Icecreamassassin Mods are discordant, and a special thanks to SirJesto for taking the time to look at my mod and actually fix its potentially huge issues that I wasn't even aware of (life saver!). Thanks also to Icecreamassassin and Spheal for their overall support and answering my questions about the Legacy Developer Kit. I've been asking this in Discord for a while, so sorry if I forgot someone.
Thanks to lilmoefow for the changes to make Requiem work better in Legacy, and for his Armor Replacer patch, which makes the monitor look better.
First of all, adultery is a reminder that I shouldn't drink at work (I mean mod :)). Secondly, with huge help from "alternative instructions", his ideas about showing and living, and being dismissive of my ramblings :)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
