About this mod Machine translation
An immersive way to collect all nine Dragon Priest Masks from the vanilla game.
Quests involving designated dragon priests are some of Skyrim's best side quests, and if you want to find the ninth to complete your collection, you'll need another eight. But how to find them in an immersive way? This mod adds a book "Dragon Priest of Skyrim" to the Archmage's quarters. Reading it will update your map and launch seven miscellaneous objectives to find all but two of the masks. (You can only get these two through the Winterhold Quest series and main quests.)
Apparently there was an old mod that added quest markers to the mask, but this mod has been removed from it.
If you have found some masks, just go to where you stored them, take them, place each mask on the ground and then pick it up again. You should then complete the miscellaneous task of finding the mask.

Quests involving the named Dragon Priests are among the best side quests in Skyrim, and if you want to find the ninth to complete your collection, you need the other eight. But how to find them all in an immersive way? This mod adds a book, "Dragon Priests of Skyrim" to the Archmage's Quarters. Reading it will update your map and start seven miscellaneous objectives to find all but two of the masks. (You can only obtain those two by progressing through both the College of Winterhold Quest line and the Main Quest.)
Apparently there was an old mod that added quest markers for the masks, but that mod has disappeared.
If you have already found some of the masks, simply go to where you have stored them, take them, drop each mask on the ground and pick it up again. Your miscellaneous quest to find that mask should then complete.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
