About this mod Machine translation

Replace the iconic Skyrim intro screen with a rotating Dragonborn Gallery icon, flaming background, and custom music. Several icon color styles are available for you to choose from.

Hate seeing and hearing the same old themes at the beginning of Skyrim? Are you no longer playing Skyrim but Dragon Legacy? Hell, maybe you haven't even played Legacy, but you think this opening screen is awesome.

Whatever your reason, this simple plugin will refresh your profile screen and make it feel fresh for a while.

Please note: The Fire Extinguisher will give all loading screens a fire extinguishing effect. If you don't want this, just delete the file from Meshes/Interface: intmenufogparticles.nif

Installation and removal:

If using a mod organizer like MO2 or Vortex; simply run the FOMOD installer and select the desired icon version.

Otherwise, just install via your mod manager, or drag and drop the files into the /Data folder

Within Grid/Interfaces/LOTDLogos you will find folders with other color versions of your logo. Copy and paste the required files into Meshs/Interface/Logo, then overwrite any files in there.

If you are using NMM or a manual installation and have extracted all Skyrim BSA files, make sure to back up the files before overwriting. (This mod only covers the logo and main intro theme music, both will revert to default if you remove the loose files from this mod).

It can be used as the basis for any other loadout screen rework and credit others where appropriate, but please only use the Dragonborn Gallery logo for Legacy-related add-ons and patches. However, the music is reserved and cannot be used.

Sick of seeing and hearing the same old theme at the start of Skyrim? Do you no longer play Skyrim but instead play Legacy of the Dragonborn? Hell, maybe you don't even play Legacy but you think this opening screen is awesome.

Whatever your rationale, this simple addon will refresh your intro screen and make it feel new for awhile.

Please Note: The fire replacer will make all loading screens have the fire effect. If you do not want this, then simply delete the file: intmenufogparticles.nif from Meshes/Interface

Installation and Removal:

If using a mod organizer like MO2 or Vortex; simply run the FOMOD installer and choose which version of the icon you want.

Otherwise simply install via your mod management program or drag and drop the files into your /Data folder

Inside Meshes/Interface/LOTDLogos you will find folders with the alternate color versions of the logo. Copy the one you want and paste it into Meshes/Interface/Logo and overwrite any file there.

If you are using NMM or installing manually and have extracted all your Skyrim BSA files, make sure to back up files before overwriting. (this mod only overwrites the logo and the main intro theme music, both will return to default if you delete the loose files from this mod).

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
