About this mod Machine translation

You can find a modified copy of Mistveil Keep (Rifton) next to Whiterun. I need a larger player house in Whiterun than Breezehome, because I often have a lot of different minions who need somewhere to live and sleep. So I think Mistveil Keep in Rifton would be the perfect size. It's a large player home, but it's also very compact, so you don't have to spend a lot of time finding your followers or reaching your personal chests.

I replaced some interior elements and also added a few things such as a decorative waterfall (shower), some large beds, a small bar/bistro, Whiterun banners, etc.

There are two doors that will lead you downstairs. One leads to the castle's basement, where you'll find some sort of barracks with extra beds (in case you really "collected" a lot of followers).

Another door will lead you into a cave beneath the castle. This cave can be used for different purposes. Leave your pets/creatures here (I usually have some werewolf companions managed with AFT or dragons), use the cave as a prison or something, or have your minions fight spawning enemies or something like that. up to you. The grounds of the castle are large enough that it can be used without basements and caves.

The castle has its own travel mark. The tag is active from the beginning.

This is my first mod, any feedback is welcome! I've been using this player since Oldrim and have never encountered any major bugs, but please let me know if this mod causes you any problems.

Update log:

v1.2b:

-Beta: This file is currently in beta, as editing the landscape and external navmesh can sometimes cause trouble. It works for me currently. I didn't encounter any errors or bugs. If I don't receive any bug reports from you, I'll rename it to 1.2 in a few days (or 1.3 if I should add more)

  • Decorate the balcony with furniture and idle markers (npc against the wall)
  • Custom built outside pond. It's now a decorative, steaming hot spring pool with an idle marker so your NPCs can sit in the water and bathe. Candles around the pond give off some ambient light.

v1.1:

-Changed basement bed ownership from "Guard" to "None".

  • Renamed esp file from asgaDBKeep_v1_0.esp to asgaDBKeep.esp so you don't have to delete the old esp manually after updating the mod. (Although you have to do this once)

v.1.0:

-Basically maintain basements and caves

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
