Dovahkiin Rising was created to make Skyrim look clearer, brighter, bolder and more natural, while also adding a host of optional cinematic effects. It enhances light sources, enhances all existing texture details, makes metal and water more shiny, and brings to life the cold climate, which is always mentioned in Skyrim's lore. Now Magic will emit additional lighting effects in many situations and look more powerful and magical.
Dovahkiin Rising comes with tons of customization and optional features. (Tip: Press "4" and "6" on the number pad instead of basically disabling all the extra lighting/fantasy type features for a very realistic look).
This mod is built around the awesome Dolomite Weathers by Mega and Dr. Kojak. The interior is built around ELFX but should work well with the Vanilla interior.
It's really freezing.
User screenshots are very encouraging!
Required: For Dolomite Weathers users, the optional "Dolomite Weathers.ini" file (called "Recommended ini Settings") available on the Dolomite page is required, or available out-of-the-box on the My Files page here.
If you want to use it on the "Dolomite" page, go to the data folder and open "Dolomite Weathers.ini" and change the value of "fGlobalContrastBoost=0" to "fGlobalContrastBoost=-.3"
If you don't, everything will become too bright and you will be blinded.
It is highly recommended to delete the camera section in DOLOMITE WEATHERS.INI (regardless of using the ini provided on the file page, I have deleted the camera settings).
Also - when the UI or menu is blurry, it's caused by one of the depth of field. If this bothers you, you can disable DoF by entering Sky before pausing the game, or entering the menu, or by pressing one of the two hotkeys below while in the menu, and then reactivate it when exiting the menu. Due to the way ReShade works, this problem cannot be solved. It either has no depth of field or causes minor troubles from time to time.

Install
Short note: Extract and copy/paste your files and folders into your Skyrim SE home folder (if you downloaded via Steam) without changing Steam's installation path from the default - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition. Once the game loads, open the ReShade menu and select "MercedesDovahkiinRising". The effect should load. profit!
Otherwise, use this guide:

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
