- Official copy of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition
- Skyrim Script Extender 64 (SKSE64), available here: http://skse.silverlock.org/

-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------
- SkyUI: Without this, there is no in-game configuration menu to configure Dodge Mods.
- Mortal Enemies: Lock onto enemies during attack animation. Without this, you won't be able to dodge most regular attacks because vanilla enemies will track you in place.

3A. Other Mods
-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------
- Deadly Combat: Combat mode, greatly improved enemy behavior, timed blocking and timed defense
- Stealth Tools: Everything a rogue needs. Throat slits, knockdowns, traps, stunt arrows and more
- Realistic greatsword combat animation overhaul: greatsword animation pack, including idle, movement and attack. Inspired by HEMA, Dark Souls and For Honor.
- Immersive Movement Speed: Adjust movement speed. Running is slower, walking is faster. Moving backward is faster.
- Realistic Two-Handed Speed: Increases the speed of two-handed weapons by 25%.
- SPERG: My personal favorite perk mod. Don't use this and realistic two-hand speed at the same time.
- Smilodon: alternative to deadly combat.

This model allows players to make short, quick movements to dodge an opponent's attacks.
control
By default, the mod automatically detects the key you use for sprinting, and pressing this key while moving sideways or backwards will cause you to duck in the appropriate direction.
If SkyUI is installed, the player can also change the key used for dodging to any other key he likes using the user-friendly menu available in SkyUI's Mod configuration menu.
dodge
The player's dodge consists of 2 parts. When the dodge key is pressed, the player will immediately receive a large increase in movement speed, meaning the player can continue moving at a faster speed in the chosen direction for a very short time.
This added movement is quickly followed by a dodge animation, where the player can take a quick step in the chosen direction and then regain control and normal control of their character.
The total distance covered and the speed at which the character moves is the product of the player's normal movement speed. This means that, especially with mods installed that increase the impact of wearing Heavy Armor's debuff on your movement speed (e.g. Deadly Combat has such a feature), but also to a lesser extent in vanilla Skyrim, dodging will be more effective while wearing Light Armor while wearing Heavy Armor.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
