About this mod Machine translation
My custom framework can be used to create your own companions. Tutorials are provided to set up the basics, and more tutorials for what to implement will be added.
This is a port of my framework. I just copy-pasted the description. For SSE it's pretty much the same thing.

Hello, this file contains a template for a standalone custom companion ad.
You can follow the tutorial video I uploaded to create your own custom (voiced) companions, they are self-contained and will not cause incompatibility issues with other mods. It's okay if you are a beginner or know how things work. However, the video is more for newer people so just have a cup of tea while checking it out.
Best of all: no scripting required!
Disclaimer: You will be able to make it yourself and upload it, but if someone else will also use it and upload it, and some users for example want to use them at the same time, there will be compatibility issues since the script and plugin will have the same name.
So for now, keep this in mind. I'll show you a video at the end on how to fix this problem and how to prevent this from happening.
The only thing that needs to be done is: rename the .esp and rename the script. Of course, what follows is renaming the plugin called folders.
This will be covered in a video in the near future.
Current features:
trading
shop
follow
wait
preference
dismiss
Future features:
trainer
Set as homepage
information:
The main "series" of basic functionality has been documented, however, and will be faster. Remember, these videos are not difficult. I'd be happy to provide you with information on how to create content.
Those things I mentioned; I know how to make these so no problem at all.
But if you have suggestions, just post them in the comments and I'll check them out and let you know if it can be done.
Here is a video of the main steps so far.
Video tutorial:
Part 1 - Setting things up
Part 2 - Actor SetUp
Part 3 - Fighting Styles and Classes
Part 4 - Conversation
Part 5 - Adding Dialog Lines
Part 6 - Placing NPCs and Completion
----------------
Part 7 - Tracking Markers
Part 8 - Rejection Marks
Part 9 - Archive Companions
----------------
Part 10 - Summon Companion Spell
Notice:
The provided videos are very identical for Oldrim and SSE, except for slightly different script paths.
Instead of Data->Scripts->Source for .psc file, instead of Data->Source->Scripts->Source.
important:
This will help create 1 companion. If you want to create another one, you may need to rename it since the script has the same name. We'll make future videos once we have all the content we need and just need a companion.
Install:
Use NMM or install manually.
Put it all in your Skyrim folder. The folder structure is all built.
This time DialogueViews are included and the empty folders are deleted.
About licensing etc:
If you want, you can create your own companion and upload it here. Just trust me and don't upload this file anywhere else. I just wish this was on .com.
Beyond that, there's nothing more. have fun!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
