About this mod Machine translation

Assign werewolves to the tier list and allow werewolves to spawn in Skyrim.

This mod is caused by many factors. First, the lore states that the Ursine is supposed to be the most common werewolf in Skyrim, but even with the addition of the Dragonbone, that's nowhere to be found. Secondly, the monsters that werewolves spawn are extremely rare, and many of the other mods that add werewolves don't make them as common as I thought they would be. Thirdly, I wanted to place enemies in a few areas that I thought should be had but shouldn't be, or in places where I thought beasts would be a better fit.

This mod covers the following factors: werewolves and werewolves have been added to the predator spawn level list (two werewolf entries for each werewolf entry), and beasts have been placed in the openings of Forsaken Cave, Rebel's Mountain, and Pine Moon Cave.

Recommended companion mods:

-More Werewolves, this adds random werewolf attacks to guard a la Dawnguard's vampire attacks or the vanilla game's dragon attacks and puts werewolves into the world that my mod can work with.

  • More Bear-like Werebears, which tweak the ninja's abilities to make them feel more unique; in the vanilla game, they were basically werewolves with changing skin.

This mod grew from a number of factors. First off, the lore states that the werebear is supposed to be the most common lycanthrope in Skyrim, but even with Dragonborn adding them, they are nowhere to be seen. Second, werewolf spawns are incredibly rare, and many other mods that add werewolves don't make them as common as I think they should be. Third, I wanted to place enemies in a couple of areas that I felt should have them but don't, or where I felt werebeasts would be a more appropriate enemy.

This mod covers these factors: werewolves AND werebears have been added to the predator spawn levelled lists (there are two werebear entries for every werewolf entry), and werebeasts have been placed in the openings of Forsaken Cave, Rebel's Cairn, and Pinemoon Cave.

Recommended Companion mods:

-More Werewolves, which adds random werewolf attacks to town a la Dawnguard's vampire attacks or the vanilla game's dragon attacks, and also hand places werewolves into the world, and which my mod was built to work with.

-More Bear-Like Werebears, which makes tweaks to the werebear's abilities to make them feel more unique; in the vanilla game, they are basically reskinned werewolves.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
