Discordant Hamlet
This mod adds a unique set of companions and a small settlement on the road to Whiterun. These companions all have unique classes to match the playstyle my friends and I used when we first played Skyrim together, and to separate their behavior from the regular vanilla Skyrim companions we're used to.

About this mod Machine translation
This mod adds a unique set of companions and a small settlement on the road to Whiterun. These companions all have unique classes to match the playstyle my friends and I used when we first played Skyrim together, and to separate their behavior from the regular vanilla Skyrim companions we're used to.
Discordant Hamlet is a small village inhabited on the road between Riverwood and Whiterun, adjacent to Honningbrew Meadery. It has several companions based on characters that my friends and I designed for Skyrim Together, each emulating the style of play we use.
Companion ads:
Benowitz the Wise - A powerful mage and magician who is also insane. No one really knows Benowitz's past, not even himself. All that can be said is that he is unstable at best, and his magic unnerves even the strongest warriors due to the destructive power he can acquire. Also, does he have pets?
Drako Stan - Ranger and former military veteran. After the Empire's defeat in the Great War and the signing of the Platinum Concordia, Draco left the Legion due to his differences with the Concordia and his hatred of Talmor. Since then, he's been hunting bounties and game across Long Skyrim and the wilds of northern Sutiedi, honing his skills for the future.
Kiravi Cinamanahmi - Spell and Smoking Addict. Kiravi finds herself in Skyrim when she attempts to serve as defender for the Khajiit caravan, and while her skills are certainly above and beyond what is required for the job, her adventurous/evil attitude gets her into trouble that the caravan can't handle. So now Kiravi is a Hex mercenary who will take any opportunity to raid Skopian lairs, caravans, or anything else that gives her the toxic liquid fix she wants.
Lando Chan - Thief and mercenary. While many Khajiit simply seek their way home, or some small thing or shiny trinket they find in a Nords house, Lando is much more than that. Lando's attraction to shiny Imperial currency could be better described as an addiction. There wasn't much coin that would have prevented him from risking his status as a "paragon of the community", but he never seemed to be caught, or maybe when he did, no one lived to tell? Lando Chan sees himself as a supporter of the Tempest, fighting only to defeat the war and distract the Empire.
Loki - Warrior, skilled in the use of sword and shield thanks to years of experience on the front lines of the Imperial Legions. After the Great War, Loki tried to help his Legion brothers in any way he could, often doing odd jobs, delivering orders, killing bandits, or anything else to aid the Empire in its fight against the Stormcloaks. Despite his hatred of Ulfric, he has some sympathy for the Stormcloaks, as many of them are former Legionnaires and hate the Thalmor as well.
Zane the Barbarian - A simple tank wielding 2H tank who doesn't worry about who ends up in a rage. The way he looks at it, whatever he doesn't understand, he can break. A fervent supporter of the Fanatic Cloaks because there are more people to kill on the Imperial side.
Although loyalties tangle and divide in the small village, each warrior respects the other's skills, often fighting side by side, sharing stories and spending nights at the inn.
NOTE: This mod is actually a revamp/update of the first mod I made, Warriors of Discord, but it's different in that all the new stuff dwarfs the original. So it still has the original filename "warriorsofdiscord.esp"

The Hamlet of discord is a small settlement residing on the road between Riverwood and Whiterun, next to the Honningbrew Meadery. It features several companions which are based on the characters my friends and I created for our Skyrim Together play through, each made to replicate the play styles we used.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
