Dim Tamil (ReShade Preset)
A recolor preset that makes skylines look more realistic and gloomy (probably best for stealth games). This preset was made with many graphics mods in mind and I'm not sure how it will look on vanilla Skyrim.

How to first install the shadow you need, download it here and then choose the correct graphics API)
You can tell if reshade is working by the text box that pops up when Skyrim loads, you should be able to press the HOME key and the menu will appear,
Installed my preset, placing the files in the skyrim special edition folder (or skyrim folder if not using SE), which will be in the Steam Apps folder, not the files in other folders. Load Skyrim and press HOME, find the "Recolor Presets" box and look for My Preset (should be the same as the file name), then select it and you should be good to go!
I recommend making some edits to the recolor preset to your liking, but I don't recommend making too many changes to the MXAO settings as it can get messed up and take a while to get set up correctly.
Warning, there are some issues with this preset which I will try to fix:
The AO shader sometimes flickers and makes the sky flicker (I don't know how to fix this without disabling MXAO in the Recolor menu (also makes the preset look worse in my opinion),
The text in menus and dialogs can be ugly and look bold, if you don't like doing that I recommend you either reduce the functionality of the toon shader or turn it off, in fact the shader is not really what I like.
If you encounter any problems, or know how to solve any problems, please let me know :).

HOW TO INSTALL first you need reshade, download here, i suggest watching a tutorial on how to set up reshade with skyrim (its quite simple you just need to click the exe, locate skyrims EXE withing the program, then select the correct graphics API)
you can tell reshade is working by the text box that pops up when you load up skyrim, and you should be able to press HOME key and the menu will come up,
install my preset, put the file in the skyrim special edition folder (skyrim folder if your not using SE) this folder will be in the steam apps folder not documents thats a differant folder. load up skyrim and press the HOME key, look for the reshade presets box and look for my preset (should have the same name as the file), then select it and you should be good to go!
i suggest you make some edits to the reshade preset to your liking, but i dont suggest you make too many changes to MXAO setting as it can be messed up and it takes a while to get right.
WARNING, there are some problems with this preset that i will try my best to sort out:
the AO shaders can sometimes flicker and make the sky flicker (i dont know how to fix this without disabling MXAO in the reshade menu (also making the preset look worse in my opinion),
text in menus and on dialog can be slightly hard to see and look quite bold, if you dont like this i suggest you either make the cartoon shader less powerful or turn it off completley, in fact that shader isnt assentual i just like it.
if you encounter any problems, or know how to fix any problems please tell me:).
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
