First time making a mod. Ever felt like the Daedric arsenal needed a little more edge? I did, always wanted a more impressive looking Daedric Greatsword. For the longest time, I felt like all the weapons fit together. Added new powerful heavy duty Daedric Ultra Greatsword (with 10 different color variants)

Too sharp to be called a sword. Massive, dark, prickly and jagged. Really, this is purely for looks.

Diedric Greatsword

This mod is primarily for my own use, but a lot of people I've shown it to would like to get it for themselves as well.

The sword was combined from multiple nif files, and inspired by CyborgArmGun's Daedric Glow Sets Redone, I made 10 versions with different glow and orb colors.

If not in use, the sword will make excellent decoration.

Swords can only be obtained by crafting.

To obtain it, you need the Forged Dragon Armor Armor. (This is done to avoid

Disabling the dragon armor perk by adding a stronger weapon than the dragon bone weapon)

Needed when making

10 ebony ingots

6 strips of leather

2Heart of Dadra

3 souls full of black

compatibility

Since the sword is made using vanilla meshes, the sword will be compatible with all texture packs that modify them.

In order to make your photos look like most of them you will need GarryG's Daedric Armor and Weapon Improvement Replacement - Default Glow file.

As far as I know, this mod should be compatible in both Skyrim LE/SSE and Skyrim VR.

It was too edgy to be called a sword. Massive, dark, spiky, and far too serrated. Indeed, it was purely for the looks.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
