- Brief description
I’m a big fan of densely populated cities. Unfortunately this mod uses scripting and is no longer supported. Therefore, I created "PCTV". Every city, town, and village in Skyrim now has new respawnable NPCs with their own AI packages and daily actions. They walk, sit, enter shops, temples/halls of the dead, explore, interact, work and more. At lunch, but more in the evening, many of them were served in taverns and hotels (all without the use of a script).
Let more lives enter the sky! Longevity in the sky!
Respawnable (with different aspects) NPCs:
NPCs Through Darkness (3 new NPCs)
DAWNSTAR (12 new NPCs)
Dragon Bridge (5 new NPCs)
FALKREATH (7 new NPCs)
IVARSTEAD (5 new NPCs)
KYNESGROVE (4 new NPCs)
MORTHAL (9 new NPCs)
Riverwood (5 new NPCs)
RORIKSTEAD (5 new NPCs)
WHITERUN (28 new NPCs)
WINDHELM (19 new NPCs)
WINTERHOLD (TOWN) (8 new NPCs)
SOLITUDE (37 new NPCs)
RIFTEN (26 new NPCs)
MARKARTH (20 new NPCs)
Total number of common new NPCs: 189
- Compatibility
PCTV is compatible with all content. However, adding a large number of NPCs may affect the performance of low-end PCs. Users of lighting mods should load them after this. Otherwise, some lighting may return.
- Installation
PCTV is just an .esp (with meshes and textures for new NPC faces - PCTV uses 922 facegens to always give you a new face when the NPC respawns. Also, every time the NPC respawns with his clothes, it will show the new face). Therefore, you can install and uninstall it without any problem. It doesn't use scripts!
You can place the PCTV anywhere in the load order as this mod does not affect vanilla Skyrim. However, users of lighting overhauls should load it after this. Otherwise, some lighting may return.
You can install PCTV using installers such as NMM (Mod Manager), Mod Organizer, etc.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
