The Robes of Deng Meili's Great House: Armor and Costume, Mesmerizing
Deng Meili's big house robe
These were made using the vanilla mesh of Telvanni robes and high resolution photos taken from silk fabrics (silk, brocade and velvet) via the internet to give the look and feel of a wealthy affluent home of the moment. Glory I also used the house symbols from the knowledge point page, changing these symbols to highlight the style of the clothing.
background:
Indoril: Looking into the colors of Dunmeri's big house, there seems to be a lack of information on Indoril (such as this discussion on GameSas.com). They consider white people here, but I can't find official sources proving this. Michael Butchin (who voiced and wrote some of the voices for Teryn Meru on my AnnaNPC computer) said they might go with solid white for purity, and then he told me gold because it's the color of the Ordinator armor, so I decided to mix the two. Unfortunately, white is the most difficult color to work with b/c it's so bright unless you set the alpha correctly. I've done a few things to tune it down, but am still learning the normals. Looks good in most indoor lights, but too bright in the sun.
Indoril robe independence is here!
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Can you convert it to a (filled-in-the-blank) body?
A: Sorry, no. I had no idea how to transition between different body types and was too scared to learn. However, if anyone wants to convert, please do so. I'd love to host it here and take full credit for your conversion.
CBBE Slim and UNP female conversions are available under "Optional Files".
Question: Why are there no symbols on the front of women’s robes?
Answer: In the _0 grid, the symbol was deformed in the chest part of the grid, so I had to remove it >. <
Update: 4tunit1 has fixed the meshes (vanilla, UNP and CBBE Slim) to fit the textures.
Q: Where can I find them?
A: Look at the photos!

Dunmeri Great House Robes
These are made using the vanilla mesh of the Telvanni Robes, and hi-res photos of real fabric from the internet: silk, damask, and velvet, to give the look and feel of rich well-to-do Houses, as in their days of glory. I also use the House symbols from lore pages, which I altered to accent the outfits.
Background:
Indoril: Researching the colors of the Great Houses of the Dunmeri, there seems to scant information about Indoril (such as this discussion on GameSas.com). Here they think white, but I could not find official sources to prove that. Michael Butchin (who voices and wrote some for Teryn Meru in my AnnaNPCs mod) said they probably chose white for purity, and then he told me gold since it’s the color of the Ordinator armor, so I decided on a mix of both. Unfortunately, white is the most difficult color to work with b/c it’s so bright unless you get the alpha right. I've done a few things to tone it down, but still learning about normals. It looks fine in most indoor lights, only too bright in the sun.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
