About this mod Machine translation
Journal and/or MCM paper interface replacement.
This little mod provides a paper interface for the Journal/Statistics/Settings menu and MCM.
The MCM Replacer is based on an "even wider" version of my mod's wider MCM menu and includes all final version fixes so no more text clipping.
Includes flashing save game fix.
Includes some minor journal UI fixes.
You can install Journal and MCM files or use them individually.
I highly recommend using the Sovngard font replacer or another replacer of your choice for a more handwritten look.
There is an optional version with a small bloody stain. It's mainly to make the SKSE text visible since its color cannot be queried via swf file editing.
Compatibility Notes:
Compatible with all content that does not change the configmenu.swf and quest_journal.swf files
Compatible with any language
Compatible with Skyrim Souls
Bottom bar removed so must be compatible with ultrawide screens
If for some reason you are using SkyUI in loose file form (unzipped BSA), just load my mod in the mod manager. Or overwrite it manually when installing manually.
For GAMEPAD users:
It has been reported that currently options selected in the main menu and statistics menu do not work. I will solve this problem as soon as possible.
Most future upgrades (todo-list):
More texture variations (maybe text color)
More cover color variations
translucent version
Higher resolution (not as easy as it looks)
A version with more HP
Optional: "Modify" line deletion
Optional: Delete MCM images
Inventory and Magic UI
LE version
Wider main menu
Leave a comment with your suggestions.
Finally, I'm sorry for not having that much English text on the screenshots. Too lazy to switch :P

This little mod provides paper interface for Journal/Statistics/Settings menu and MCM.
The MCM replacer is based on "Even Wider Rescaled" version of my mod Wider MCM Menu for SkyUI, all final version fixes included, so no more text clipping.
Flashing savegame fix included.
Some minor Journal UI fixes included.
You can install both Journal and MCM files or use them separately.
I highly recommend using Sovngard font replacer or other replacer you like for more hand-written look.
There is optional version with small bloody stain. It's mainly to make SKSE text visible because its color can't be chaged via swf-file edit.
Compatibility note:
Compatible with everything that does not change configmenu.swf and quest_journal.swf file
Compatible with any language
Compatible with Skyrim Souls
Bottom bar image removed, so must be compatible with ultra wide monitors
If for some reason you use SkyUI in loose files form (unpacked BSA), just load my mod after SkyUI in mod manager. Or overwrite manually in case of manual installation.
FOR GAMEPAD USERS:
It's reported that for now options choosing in main and statistics menus doesn't work. I'll try to fix this asap.

Lastly, I'm sorry for not so many English text on screenshots. Too lazy for switching:P
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
