DCS - Dynamically Customizable Soundtrack SE
In-depth self-added music module that provides some options between DRAkE and CDMS, and has some new features such as the ability to provide unique music for most bosses such as Alduin, Tsun, Mirmulnir, regular bosses, etc. Instead, you can use less interesting music for weaker battles, such as fights with crabs and wolves. The location is also unique.

DCS is a slightly improved version of Drake, and just like Drake it allows for a full set of music for each location, in fact it's pretty much the same save for new features, improvements and the lack of the least popular day of the week option. Anyway, hopefully this is what a few people are asking of Drake.
With dcs you can have your own music playing in the game and have almost endless choices of when and where it plays.
You can set up complete music suites for all SkyRIMs and their DLCS, suitable for every situation and venue. These suites include unique Discovery,
Combat, skill menus, and even "searched music". With DCS, you can also have a diverse selection of battle music for weak enemies and boss enemies, if you so choose.
(Please note that there is unfortunately no music accompanying this mode, but there are plenty of suggestions below)
Below is the complete list of DCS features
-Should be a low mode conflict
- Little or no impact on performance
- No scripts, spells, quests or inventory items added
- Complete music suite for different locations
-Music in skill menu
- Unique music for most big bosses including Arduin, Ebony Warriors, Duneviel and Ancanor
- Unique music for general bosses such as bandit leaders
- Unique music for weak level 01 and 02 enemies, and weak animals.
- Unique music suites for 5 major towns
-Each guild has unique music, and some allow for unique battle music.
- Unique music suites for each dungeon, including Apokriha and Dwarven Ruins
- Unique music, based on what faction controls a non-CW fortress dungeon, or just simple type and no factions if you prefer.
- Unique musical suites in the form of a werewolf or vampire lord
-Special music when searched by enemies outside the city or in the dungeon
- Enable music in the swamp (leave the swamp empty to explore if you want to be silent)
-The long battle music actually ends well (opening menus like inventory does prevent it from ending)
-Each battle song can have its own ending if you wish - a silent file will be included if you cannot add an ending track
-Night music is actually only at night
- Unique music in alternate start mode as you create your character to live another life
Note about long-sung battle songs: Summaries are set to the normal maximum of 6 minutes, which is for length.
The song is a file on your computer, not the time it plays in the game.
If a song is longer than 6 minutes and it plays longer than the last period, then it will have to play until the end of it.
Some of the endings are set to take longer than 6 minutes, depending on what I personally want, and you can see those extended times by looking at the ESP if you really want to.
Install
-Manual installation
Step 1 - Download 1 core fileset, there are 3 to choose from
- Standard - There are no special rules here, the folder says what it is.
- Simple faction dungeon options removed, only type matters.
-Personal-"All" only works for exploration, not dungeons, arbitrary folders in dungeon groups only work with Loredas in the game, and day and night folders don't work on Loredas.
Step 2 - Download the required 1 unused area repair file
-The point of this file is that while the Zone Combat pieces are undiscovered, Bethesda created a unique music type playlist for each region that doesn't really use them, for example, Coast uses Mountains, Forest Falls uses Pines, REACH uses Mountains, Snow uses Mountains despite having a unique color palette, and then you know.
This zone fix conflicts with weather mods, so download the zone fix that works with the weather mod you use, or the vanilla fix if you don't use a weather mod. I …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
