Dawnstar Temple Overhaul:
by k4tonic
As the name suggests, this is an overhaul of Dawnstar Sanctuary. A new area has been added to the side of the main entrance, which houses a blacksmith's forge, smelter, grindstone, tanning rack and workbench, as well as chests for storage. There is also an arcane enchantment on top of one of the stair cabinets.
But that's not all... the lighting has also been redone. Each light source emits its own light, and the type and position of the light is taken into account to make it look more appropriate. Candles on the table emit less light than chandeliers and other larger light sources.
Are there any incompatible mods?
Any mod that modifies Dawnstar Sanctuary will most likely be incompatible. Again, this overhaul was created for the RealVision ENB/ELFX combo. Other settings will produce different results and may not be ideal.
Note: Icestormganon's other "Dark Brotherhood members" are compatible with this overhaul.
what's new?
3.22.2015-v1: Initial version
Any updates planned?
Maybe add a Dark Brotherhood face sculptor. I've tried this but ran into some issues. Not sure if this is a script or something else. Some vendors may also be added.
How do I install this mod?
Download and install using NMM. I've never used Mod Organizer, so I'm not sure how it works, and I don't recommend manually installing mods unless necessary.
I don't like this, how do I get rid of it?
Once again, NMM is your best friend.
Can I use it for my own projects, or can I upload it to other sites?
No. I prefer the website and spend a lot of time making sure everything is working properly.
Who is responsible for this mod?
Bethesda Game and Creation Suite
That's it, enjoy your new Dawnstar Sanctuary!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
